>>79295597Maybe I missed it or forgot, but the first film didn't have straight-up like...magical elements, did it? Part of what I liked about the first movie was that it mainly felt grounded with some wacky stuff here and there. Trailers for the new one gave me the impression they cranked up the wacky, which sent up some red flags. But I missed the memo on magic.

>>79295783>the first film didn't have straight-up like...magical elements, did it?I mean the Climate Wall is basically an air conditioner the size of a dam that is also somehow capable of making highly stable and localized weather for two districts that make up half the city's area, and said districts have extremely well-defined hard cutoff points for their weather despite the fact that they're in wide open air and most of the city that's not supposed to be in these two districts is closer than two districts' outer edgesIf you can explain how that any of that logically works without essentially saying "it's Disney magic" then you're a better man than I
>the climate wall is literally lost elven technology till this movie since snakes were a creature of myth and they never been shown in the first oneeverything eventually goes back to JRPG slop
>my wolf OC is a lost prince from a vaguely native American tribe in a continent away from Zootopia that also happens to be surrounded by alien technology built to be didn't robot versions of "the first men" which are just unevolved animals
>>79298072 I mean i know the climate wall is sort of magic in a 'we don't explain it' way. (Unless this movie makes it total magic.) But it's previously framed as a technology. Like recognizable, albeit patently absurd tech. It's not like they ever framed them as like 'the enchanted walls' or whatever. They're giant air conditioners and freezers whose power draw was never explained before. But one assumes it's tech because magic is just never an open topic in Z1.
>>79298901Sorry, meant giant freezers and giant exhaust vents.

>>79298438bros... this sounds exactly what byron wanted to make since the start like he said of snakes... is byron among us?
>>79299424idk but if he is, I hope he knows, that we appreciate what he does.I just got the small nitpick that a small playful surprise kiss really would've meant the world for the fans after 9 years of waiting. Like, according to the picture books the ending just has Judy say "I'll erease it, after our next case"imagine the closing scene that is described in the novel this way:>Nick gifting the carrot pen back and saying "I love ya, partner">Judy plays back the "i love ya" part>Nick tries to get the pen back>Judy dodges turns around and goes>"Don't worry I'll let you erase it">*steals a quick smooch of his lip*>"after 48 more of these!">*Runs away playfully to her family that are talking to the snakes leaving Nick stunned looking after her while slowly a small open mouthed smile curls up on his face.*I think the surprise confirmation would've caused a standing ovation from the cinema. The whole movie felt like it built up to it but then it didn't happen...I hope its because the confirmation you plan to do in Zootopia 3 is even better. Please don't string us along any further, my heart is already breaking knowing Z2 is just implying things.(also please give their uniforms back, a judy without her vest and badge on the chest feels like superman without a cape)
>>79299895>Thats sexual harrasment, Nick did not consent to that kiss reeeeee

>>79301637I want to believe that, because I see no reason why someone would want to make a fake post like this, but I am only carefully optimisticletterbox reviews aren't 100% credible either, many can make accounts and comment on movies they haven't actually seen.In a few days we will have some credible sources when the review embargo is lifted.

>another 10 years of this wildehopps retardationsweet
>>79301637Im so glad people still like wildehopps even after watching. By everything shown, even disregarding the reptiles, I can't force myself to care. Nick is... no longer someone I really would care for.>Slick legal dodger who lives under a bridge and knows everyone, quick on his feet and fast to turn a situation on his favor, jokes at the expense of Judy consistently, Judy learns from it and they start doing it back and forth. Helps out and is intent on helping her on the case>Complete chud loser who lives on a pigsty and gets embarrassed by Judy visiting rather than fixing his apartment, knower of the city that does not know of the city, slick talker that can't convince anyone, cannot do anything but complain the whole movie, hits the disenfranchised poor Film's Mossssssssst Lovable Character rather than talking since Nick is known for jumping the gun, constantly shown to be a coward or fumble things, his plot point is "Let's abandon this case because I don't want to die" while Judy is "Let's save people and be Good Citizens", cannot for his life contribute to the plot since all his traits were redistributed to other charactersJudy at least only lost her "im optimistic" to the Deity Snake, I'm looking at the storyboard with events happening and seeing Nick and Nibbles going to fucking have a heart to heart with Bellwether before rejoining the plot, if they are partners struggling for recognition he is definitely the one at faultI'm not saying he needs to be Kulkum Nicholas "The God" Wilde, btw, Nick did fold with Mr Big to have his ass saved, just wondering why that is his main characteristic now. I know characters can change, I just don't know why keep characters that already had their plot if you don't want to.
>>79302078>china is allowed to basically treat them as canonthey are end-game people can't deny it anymore
>>79294613thumbs up emoji
>>79301769>I see no reason why someone would want to make a fake post like thisMoney, especially considering how the movie changed many things in one year of announcing the movie and releasing it. The WildeHopps course correction of the marketing is a real thing.
>>79295973It was some weird argument going on with a nanny at e6.Did fit the 'art standards', guess there wasn't enough cock for the nanny's to suck.
>>79302297You are skipping over a lot of things that seemed to be implied by the books and the novel>Nick is still an amazing bullshitter and actor, he has the antearter around his fingers at the start until Bogo messes up their act>He is only out of the water because the Marsh is more like the outskirts of the city he probably never had any reason to visit>Once he opens up about his problems with Judy, he is engaging full on gremlin mode>its all about Judy allowing HIM to lead, so they can take action at a pace Nick is also comfortable with intead of always running after her trying to save her (thus the symbolism of him taking the wheels by the end of the movie)I think they are fine, otherwise it would be pointless to only do 1 week timeskip. The directors specifically said that they continue the story this close to the ending because they wanted people to see the Judy and Nick from the first film and see who they turn each other into.
>>79302403this review came less than 2 days ago following the red-carpet premier, I really doubt there is a point in fake-reviewing so close to the release day.If there was no wildehopps in the red-carpet's version of the movie, doubt they will add any now, so there is not much hope for course correction.

what are you guys think the odds are chinese audience that are even more hardly wildehopps shippers than us in the west, will just cancel their tickets or not go once they learn the entire marketing is deceptive and there is no romantic confirmation between Judy and Nick?Or are people the kind of shippers there that are fine even with just hints?
>>79315622I kind of fear that the entire hype in china is build around the well made Z1, and after they watch Z2 that has mediocore story, with J&N relationship not progressing at all, they'll loose some of the interest for when Z3 comes around
>>79316079many that saw the movie, despite the review embargo seem to hint at it that their relationship did progress, and the romantic imagery in the trailers and promos isn't entirely misleading...Not sure how far they go but my guess is that they went for something like>okay, the first movie has them be enemies for the most time and the end they become best buds.>now the second film we will have them best buds the most time and by the very end we hint at sparks of romantic feelings between them>then in the 3rd film we will show them having a crush on eachother the whole time and finally them become an official coupleI think that's the idea that they were going with. I just think they played too many romantic tropes for this movie and there is nothing left for the 3rd to raise the romantic tension further. I mean, look at this, Nick giving Judy flirty looks while they are in a honeymoon lodge's heart shaped bed? How do you top that? How is this in the movie that doesn't have them kiss at the end?I am trying to be hopeful, we will see what they plan to do, but I fully expect Jared or Byron to come clean and confirm that "yes, we are hinting at starts of romantic feelings between the two" in interviews instead of bullshitting us further with "we don't knooow, we let the viewer decide" because then its really just exactly where the first movie left off.
Well if there's nothing in Z2 for the shippers, I fear Zootopia Shanghai is gonna crash and burn...

>>79316289a 3rd movie is another oportunity to fuck the story more. maybe they are looking for something like an hotel Transylvania. which i don't like because all disney cares is about money.
>>79318147Hotel Transylvania is a Sony property
>>79318205>maybe they are looking for something likeI know you retard.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqKIBDPfEx4weirdly, this interview gave me hope for wildehopps. The interviewer ask about it, is interesting too.She tells Ginni about that there are strong aspirations for wildehopps among the fans, and ask how Ginni fits that into her performance of the dynamic into - which would be a weird thing to ask if the aspirations would be misplaced, because then why would Ginni try to bring that aspect into the role?Ginni then responds with, "I wish I knew... I wish could dissect how we have gotten here", since she was seperated from Jason during recording, she couldn't react to his lines and HIS performance of Nick. So she doesn't know how Disney does it, that they put the two voices together and it comes off as (and she doesn't really describe how it sounds)Which feels like, that it something she would've put more into her voice-work if she knew that the movie would lean into romantic themes like that. And the way she says she is "rooting for them from the outside, just generally as like a partnership" sound like she isn't really against the idea of Judy and Nick getting together, as long as they remain great partners and they find success.Overall glad there are interviewers that don't shy away from asking about wildehopps even if the actors and disney doesn't want to give us a straight answer about it.
>>79316079they can downplay or exaggerate things with the dialog and different length of shots/removing shots, its not new. the chinese one probably had a disney exec desperate to make it the most romantic shit ever, while the western one had the artists total freedom to have them say "I appreciate you as a Co-worker that joined the force due to me and accepts my desire to act recklessly" "Why my good chap, I too appreciate you as the police officer who broke through bigotry and prejudice and became the first small animal cop (ignoringmousesandotherrodentiamammals), your actions shone a beacon that elevated me to a new height and allowed me to break through past valid traumas of systematic issues and prejudice and become my best self, aiding in maintaining the status quo as a law enforcement officer, truly, I do not wish you to die, my fellow compatriot in the search for justice".>>79316289>3rd>he doesnt know
>>79318436she on the first movie already said she didnt want them together she isnt in the marketing team, she doesnt need to pretend she wants it to de-sink this IP. just let the movie sink the whole thing, disney needs to focus on their parks state.
@akada_maru
>>79318921lmao, if Judy and Nick would talk like that to eachother, then it would be even more of a joke of "oh yeah they are secretly fucking and they are trying to hide it by being as distant in public as possible">3rd>he doesnt knowJared and Byron have repeatedly said that they totally want to create more things in Zootopia, and hope that Z2 does well because then they can get the next one out a lot faster. >>79319004she didn't say she didn't want it if I recall, she just didn't see it that way at the time. Her answers now are more ambiguous, like she accepts it if the directors take Judy and Nick that way, she will still love them.
>>79319078>they wantYou won't believe what the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy crew wanted...
>>79319118the star wars sequel trilogy crew didn't make 1 billion and won an oscar like Z1 (did it?)>also fuck katleeen Kennedy and her "I hate Luke, fuck men, the force is female" demented thought-process. Now disney is looking for a new IP that can engage young adult men because she killed the golden goose that did just that.Really, man you don'T have to convince me, disney as a company sucks, I am not a disney fan, I'm just a fan of this IP and Judy and Nick as a potential couple
>>79319190Clearly you still think too highly of Disney if you actually believe the sequels are what they pull off best
>>79319190>the star wars sequel trilogy crew didn't make 1 billionAll three of them grossed over $1 billion in the box office (and more than Zootopia), and TFA grossed over $2 billion alone>and won an oscarStar Wars hasn't won a single Oscar since Return of the Jedi so that's not really that much of a distinction
>>79319222I don't, not a single sequel has worked sofar with the exception of a few pixar one, so of course I had low hopes for Zootopia2BUT, some reviewers that expressed that they feared it would be like Wreck it Ralph 2 have been giving positive reactions about it, saying that it is at least as good as the first one. >>79336882jared also, while teasing the shippers on twitter for a whole year, suddenly went radio-silent after the first reviews came out.He could have either dismissed the "purely platonic" claims or come clean about it that they are only teasing the ship, instead the silence just had killed a lot of enthusiasm among my friendgroup.
>>79337347Nick be like: Nick is not for gaying
>>79337347>>79337488I see every shipper on twitter be like>"no *clap* platonic *clap* explanation! He tries to make Judy jealous and by Judy's face its working!but this is exactly why a confirmation would've been nice by the end... otherwise this is just misdirection.
>>79299895considering how emotional rabbits are, and how emotionally closed off Nick is, I totally expected for Judy to make the first move like this.Seeing Nick being all flirty in the promos that doesn't even seem to register to Judy that she is being hit on is definitely weird.
>>79338039Yeah but Judy is also the sort of straight laced person that might be hesitant to mix strong feelings in with her professional life.Theres many ways to approach it.
>>79338172yeah but Nick is the one that has a hard time with his emotions, and romantic affection or even just lust is something that I think he wouldn't really experience BEFORE he comes to term with his problems. So seeing him being flirty and trying to make Judy interested in him by making her jealous BEFORE he gets to break down his walls. And Dr.Fuzzby does point out that Judy is in discomfort because of Nick keeping an emotional distance from her. Like what is going on. So Nick is flirty with Judy and emotionally closed off at the same time? So Judy seems to do want Nick to let his guard down around her and be vulnerable for her, which I think would be a strong feeling that should be a desire outside of professional life
>>79338379People and well written characters are not as simple as that. He can be emotionally closed off because its a conscious decision about what he views and is socially accepted as emotional. But there might be times that he is less cognizant of his actions or its a greyer/ambiguous area of whats considered emotionally in tune, such as sarcasticly joking but there being an underlying truth in what he says.
>>79338908that is true, I guess that its a form of his affection being deflected as humor. I like when he is written as someone afraid of his own feelings so he masks them as empty superficial flirts and sex-jokes. Not entirely but kinda reminds me of Blitzo in Helluva Boss, a guy that doesn't believe that he is worth loving or that he deserves to be loved, but masks it by acting like he is a sex god that everyone wants to get in bed with and that could seduce anyone.Though I like it with Nick when its written in a way, that his flirting and seduction is all fake and would get flustered when it would actually work
>>79333031ALAB
>>79339342see some people rather upset about the relevation that every lynx in the movie is evil. Some really liked pawbert and honestly it would've been good to get a twist hero that everyone suspects is evil, but actually comes out and saves the day by betraying his own evil family.Evil kid betrays city and heroes to earn the respect of evil family was too predictable everyone saw it coming...Unless Byron and Jared do some huge-big brain twist and the actual movie premiering on the 26th has completely different ending and final conflict than what was shown on the red-carpet gala, but the final showdown seems too detailed to be replaced with anyone else but Pawbert.
>>79340091feel like they gave Pawbert's redeption ark to the Horse Mayor, who I don't understand why is a character. He could have been a 1 time throwaway background character like Yax or Flash really don't see what he adds to the plot, with the exception of it being "haha he is basically Kronk's fursona". That's a good joke, but not a reason to make him into a character
My biggest fear is the disappointment the fandom will have if any deleted scenes come out where the writer team tested alternative scenes with Judy and Nick, like image we get a deleted scene kiss.Would probably get a "release the snyder cut" treatment from the fandom with people demanding a version of the movie to be released where Judy and Nick DOES become an official couple instead of the stupid teasing and foreshadowing.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYhdRqJbQlI
>>79340351i don't even remember watching deleted scenes to any disney sequel.I remember seeing a lot of first movies, but not disney sequels. Do they usually release disney sequel alternative stories deleted storylines? Can someone link me some interesting ones?
>>79336882>I feel like they gotten some fan-mail complaints about the deceptive marketing because disney suddenly turned away from the Nick and Judy focus of the promos and instead focuses and Gary a lot more. The contrary, they bet their heart on Gary an Nibbles and suffered for it enough to have to adapt the marketing. They know are bad getting things in the first time so they have to retry, one or fifteen hundred forty nine times, they will get passably better maybe once in a while.
>>79341733bonnie looks good with blue eyes
>>79340091Not because it was predictable, billionaires are ontological evils. People fundamentally cannot change to what they have never been.>>79340351I doubt it, we got boy friend, with a space in the middle scene and nothing happened.
>>79342148>boy friend, with a space in the middle sceneurinonically would be seen as canon confirmation if Judy would introduce Nick to her mom and dad as "boy friend with a space in the middle" because no way she'd joke with that.
>>79340351That's assume Nick and Judy don't become a couple in this movie
>>79342616And so it begin
>>79343719not sure if you read the rumors/leaks, but based on some of those it is a rightful assumption.Anything less than something that removes any shadow of a doubt like lets say>any kiss, even a small playful one on the cheek>either Judy or Nick calling the other their "boyfirend"/"girlfriend">them talking about dating in any form to confirm they are together>even just something like the deleted scene with Judy's family mistaking Nick for her boyfriend.is not making them a couple. As long the haters can say shit like "you do know friends can hug eachother like that too right?" or "you know friends can say the word "love" too, that doesn't mean they love eachother in a romantic way" then its not canon. I hope it will be canon, but based on the rumors I head sofar a have little faith in it.
>>79343737ignore it, he never stopped he just got more desperate for attention. Like he even got Nibbles to fuck Judy, not knowing that Nibbles is a girl, lmao, talking about not even doing the minimal research. Don't engage with this low-effort shitposting

>>79346449okay, active spoiler. there are 2 major rumors circulating the net----->rumor 1, there is absolutely no hint or any confirmation that they are interested in eachother in a romantic way. The best we got is esentaially the same ambiguity the "you know you love me" line did.->rumor 2, you probably know the junior novelization scene that during the closing scenes, while they are in Gary's home, with Judy's family visiting, Nick gifts a repaired carrot pen back to Judy and says "I lova ya, partner". Judy then jokingly plays back the "I love ya" part, prompting Nick to try to get the pen back, and Judy teasing him about that she will earease it after their next case.>this becomes relevant in the mid-credits scene where Judy is home, alone, listening repeatedly to the carrot pen "I love, ya" part with a dreamy/love-sick expression, until her neighbours shout through the wall to knock it off already cuz she has been playing with that thing all day.-----while rumor 2 seems plausible and less ambiguous and more preferrable than rumor 1... its still way too open ended and doesn't confirm any form of relationship, only confirms the presence of romantic feelings that neither Judy or Nick acted upon yet. After a decade of waiting, people were hoping for the RELATIONSHIP STATUS to get an official update, not just the feelings. I just don't see why they couldn't do both. So yeah... in short, even the best rumors only say that they imply that they might've fallen in love, but until they act on it with a kiss or asking eachother out on a date, they are not a "couple".
>>79347040>but until they act on it with a kiss or asking eachother out on a date, they are not a "couple".or as >>79346549 anon said, a clear non platonic "i love you"
>>79347403Nah. It's a movie, not a radio show. "Show, don't tell" as they say. I would argue that the ending of Z1 went a bit above just merely platonic and yet 9 years later people are still arguing about it. Actions speak louder than words, so a mouth-to-mouth kiss has to be the bare minimum. A straight-up marriage proposal, and a "yes", would also work. The third option is doing what the Lion King did. No kisses and no "I love you", but instead a lot of naked body contact and bedroom eyes with heavy thick romantic background music all followed up with a kid(s) by the end.
>>79346549aou aovu aobu alobu ailobu ialobu iloobu i lobbu i obu i lob u i lov u i lov iu i lve yu i lovei u i love u i l love yu i love you. I Love You. I Love You. I Love You. I Love You. I Love You. I Love You. I Love You. Goodbye.
>>79347040I know this seems a bit pessimisticI'm trying to look at it more positive lightIf they basically confirm that Judy fell in love with Nick, there is no way in hell the story in Zootopia 3 will be about Nick rejecting her or something, especially after flirting with her throughout all of Zootopia 2. IF the rumor is true, its basically "as good as canon"Not what I hoped for, I would've been fine even with an "eskimo-kiss", you know, them rubbing their noses together. But I try to stay positive that we got a promise that its happening and not a debunkage.>>79348319>No kisses and no "I love you", but instead a lot of naked body contact and bedroom eyes with heavy thick romantic background music all followed up with a kid(s) by the end.Lol, good one, though even Lion king had a "face lick" which is the animal eqivalent of a kiss... holy shit if Nick would lick Judy's face that would have been the best thing in the world! Holy shit, then I would be cartwheeling all the way home from the cinema

help, I need to draw but I can't stop procastinating.shipping anxiety is too strong, I'm keep switching between youtube, twitter, reddit, and here for ANY new news or reliable reviews about what we can expect about Zootopia2.I cannot go into the movies if its really gonna be just further ship-teasing with no concrete evidence or answer from Judy and Nick. And I can't distract myself form the fact that its less than a week away with any other music or movie in the background, but I can't work/draw this way...
>>79351986dont man, don't try to give me false hope. even the pro most wildehoppsy leakers didn't describe anything more happening in this scene. There was no kiss, not even a peck on the cheek, no jokes from Judy's family about Jude finally finding her dude or something. unless the public version of the movie is different from the what they showed at the red-carpet or in korea, then this scene is exactly how it was in the novel
it's not that serious

>>79352354I wish it wasn't for memaybe then I could sleep and work
>>79351986>Junior novelizations!DOOM... will allow it.
>>79350493I was just trying to do something suggestive and tasteful. Besides, I'm not exactly dying to draw any of the new movie characters unless I get a comm request to do it. I'm pretty much ignoring the new film entirely. You got plenty of other artists to go to for full evil slut prisoner Bellwether, and I'm sure the Bellbert shipping will come in due time.>>79352459I don't fucks with that Arabic cuck and cheating shit like him. Shame, he's got a nice style, and draws a nice Otterton...well, except when he goes with the massive tits. Looks like water balloons stapled to her chest.
>>79352715incredibly based100% agree on your summary on Sirocas well as the new characters. I don't understand how they managed to make almost all of the new characters so insanely unappealing. Like don't think I have seen a single new animal model that was cute. In Zoot 1 even characters like Clawhauser and Gideon had some charm to them. But Nibble's new beaver model, the reptiles, the anteater even the lynxes had some too over-detailed grittiness to them that makes me not want to look at them.
>>79353123Gary is cute...
what would Zootopia 3 even be aboutZootopia 1 felt like an underdog story where the rookies have to prove themselves even though the boos sabotages them. The other officers don't help them because they don't think they belong there.Zootopia2 is obviously a "we have been framed" story. The other officers not just don't help them, but actively try to catch them. What will Zootopia 3 do? I really hope we get so see Judy and Nick as established policed officers working together with the other officers well.
>>79353807Nick get ipad
>>79353801he is... he just feels like from another movie, he is basically Ka from the Jungle KingI like James Woods concept art of him better, it would've fit the first film's design language better
>>79353871>Kaa from Jungle Bookgot I really should sleep 4 am hits badly
>>79353801they are trying to hard to make him cute
>>79353123Gary is a total non-starter to me. I may be a furry, but I don't touch that vore/hypnosis crap with a ten-foot pole, and it's unavoidable with that character. He's clearly modeled after Kaa, so it goes hand in hand with the more depraved folks in the fandom who love that Kaa shit.As for the Lynxes...I feel like there's something about their designs that feels weirdly off...like they are a little too exaggerated? The 2-D lynx from the book looks better, and I can't recall whether there were lynxes in the crime files, but those designs, in general, were solid and made for a good reference for species in Zoot that hadn't shown up in the film. With the Lynxley's it's like...is it too much cheek fluff? Hands too big? Idk..I can't quite put my finger on it. It's not like the 'sheep' problem Zoot has, where, because of the 'henchrams' thing with Bellwether, all the sheep look barely sapient when they don't have Bellwether's model as a base. It was clear outside of Bellwether and Judy's childhood that the sheep were designed to be villains first, and now we're kinda stuck with that. And the beaver...idk, she just seems annoying. I can't believe they literally stole the Rock Bottom 'phhbt' thing from ancient ass SpongeBob. Between her and the super sweet, fun Chinese pandering snake, Nick and Judy will be carrying a lot of weight for the movie. So I hope for Wildhopps fans there will be something there to make that worth it...but some of them seem willing to scrape crumbs off the floor for that ship, so they'll probably be satisfied with a 'flirty glance'.Here's a Siroc pinup with the cheating dialogue edited out for the based Otterton enjoyers.
>>79353801I do not give a shit about The Most Lovable Character In This Movie Snake. Don't even hate snake, just think he is the most "the best newcomer merchandise character" in the world, even Chinese 蛇 巳 Year aside adding a whole species, I just don't like when characters are too hyped.

>>79294613I don't think tits exist in Zootopia but I like this better. As an aside I'm keeping my hopes up for a some for some romantic progression of Judy and Nicks relationship in 2. Even if it's just a realization for them that they'd like to be more than friends by the end. Don't need a kiss for that and the gala is kind of a proto-date.

>>79355551there were movies in the past that had multiple versions with multiple endings. Like "I am Legend", where the thearical version had Will Smith's character, Neville, sacrifice himself to create a cure by blowing himself and the infected horde up. While an alternative ending thats more inline with the source-material's narrative, has Neville realizes the infected do still have thoughts and can be reasoned with, and in their eyes HE is the monster. He releases the captured infected, that the horde thanks by leaving in peace. Other example is little shop of Horrors, that originally had the movie end with a "end of the world" tone which the alien plant eating the protagonists, Seymour and his love interests and then growing over the planet eating all of humanity. The theatrical release had Seymour save his love interest and then defeat the alien plant and live happily ever after. In Marvel films in last decaleds it was a used trend to film fake scenes and not tell the actors which ones would actually be in the final film so they themselves wouldn't know how it ends, until the theatrical release.I mean that kind of thing.>>79355718Be in mind that this is not verified but the rumors mentioned in this post >>79347040
>>79359391Though I'm pretty sure if birds are sapient and its true that Z2 is teasing the ship, then Z3 will be all about "love birds" meaning and culture of the avians or something that will help Judy and Nick act on their own feelings for eachother...I really hope birds remain wild animals, and maybe the third movie could have some enviromentalist message, because creating 1 excuse to why reptiles weren't in the first film already was hard enough (and didn't even work because even the reviewers say, they weren't explained very well) so trying to now make an excuse to why sapient birds didn't appear for 2 movies would be even more idiotic and not believable. If birds still live in the wild or are rare exotic pets.I mean what would anthro birds look like in Zootopia's design language? Just regular birds with clothes on? They are already bipedal, and they can't use their wings as hands after all. Also Nick and Judy could have a pet falcon like zootopian vesion of Inspector Rex lol
>>79358500Well tits don't exist but a thick ass can so us ass men can still enjoy the scenery thankfully.
>>79359761Didn't we already see birds flying around during Judy's arrival to Zootopia?
>>79360529don't think sadly. It's been 10 years, there are people that have inspected every frame of the movie with a microscope. If there would be hints at wild birds in the background it would've been already discovered. I just hope that the team knows that the world itself outside the city would be too lifeless without at least 1 land-based wild animal.Lack of wild birds, birds not singing in the forests, birds not drinking at lakes and flying majestically around in the sky in the distance would horribly detract from the serenity of nature
>>79360692Oh la la, Judy! Observest Bonnie de mama! Oui oui honhon je suis montes!
china had an early preview not long ago and first reviews are flying out.whatever is in the movie, it encourages shipping. It hints at them having a future together.allow yourself to be hopeful. They are sailing yet, but they are both already on the boat

>>79360970Baroness Bear or Sharla

His inlaws could be 80-90-ish, but its hilarious imagining him hating to visit sweet old wrinkled great-grand-parents>>79361480>he is looking for his replacement and he sees promise in Judythat is... interesting if they keep this plotline for Z3, it could be that it will be about Judy needing to decide between staying Nick's partner (and maybe lover) or accepting the promotion. I'd love for her to choose staying with Nick
>>79361480Did he died
>>79361894weirdly no leaker mentioned him coming back, but it was assumed during the story, that the major took control of the police because Bogo was in the hospital.I think he will pull through, there is no way they'd just write down such an important character and not include a funeral scene for him as a tearjerker at the end
If they’re de a cameo for packstreet, where would you put them?Just them sitting together on a porch, while the scene whizzes by?Only a select few with their own cameo?Marty in a Morgue?
>>79362790would def put them together, it makes the cameo more clear that its THEM if its a gang.I would probably make them do the couch-moving gag, Remmy, Ozzy and Wolter trying to get a couch moving through the door, while marty is on top of it instructing, Betty Avo and Anneke standing on the side laughing and Al and Charlie just arriving to be stunned by the chaos
>>79362011>>79361894Pretty sure one of the leaks mentioned gary accidentally biting and poisoning him, which results in him being hospitalized, and leads to the female boar taking over the police force until the end of the movie in which the case is solved and bogo recovers
>>79361572Thing is, who would take over the ZPD if not Judy? we have no cop that's fleshed out enough to be a viable alternative, would be kinda lame if whoever took over in her place was some character with very little screentime or development, maybe the third movie could introduce a rival for her that goes through a redemption arc and is humbled by the end and becomes worthy of the position.
>>79363320Bogo didn't had to be established in the first movie for him to be believable leader. And in real life and real police stations, its often a source of officers, especially in leading positions to relocate to other positions.Bogo is the police chief, but also the main police station at Savannah Central is only "Precinct 1". I think it wouldn't be entirely unbelievable if another Precinct's Captain would be promoted to the head. In fact that is more realistic. You don't promote a regular police officer to the chief of the entire police. You take someone who already proved himself in smaller leading position as the police chief. And it would be a realistic conflict of Judy and Nick distrusting the new police chief, while it turns out he or she is actually a competent leader.
>>79362856>Add a sleeping badger wearing a burga uniform laying on top of the couch they're moving
>>79363551
>>79361480Thats kind of hilarious, I was planning in my own stuff that Judy becomes his successor, and by the time she's been at it for years, she's basically fully emulated Bogo demeanor as a way to make sure the bull-pen takes her seriously. That said...man, I know it's going to get a 'it's a kids movie' response...but if there's a bird reveal that's the same as the reptile reveal it's just...the reptile reveal is already garbage. But what are the odds, like...within weeks to months, two entire populations of new species previously undiscovered or forgotten are found? Maybe if it was like, a first-contact space scenario... but on your own planet? Did anyone ever explore? Or was that very concept too 'colonizer' coded?
>>79366368Very highly doubt we will get a bird species, to do it theyd have to rush a movie in 4 years, without redoing it or reworking everything in the last years, which Zootopia never manage to pull off.
>>79366634don't actually think they'd make the main character a rooster unless they do make birds non-sapient animals and rooster fights will be the zootopia world version of illegal dog-fights.. fuck that's also such a cool idea, i just keep getting wild-birds in zootopia ideas that just seem to fit/work well.
>>79362790>cameo for packstreet, where would you put them?I never did finish this WIP...
