'Sup everyone, happy Thursday! Quickie Betilla I did in a Rayman thread the other day, I really want to play through 2 and 3 one of these days.
Still running through Time Stranger, getting more and more hooked into it. It's scratching a deep itch and I love it for that. If I have the time, I might do some Digimon/Digigirl fats or at least faces for some practice.

What's everyone else up to this week?

To be fair it 'was' by complete accident.
The Sandwich Stream Sundays with that one trainer resulted in her packing on more than a few pounds.

Turns out fans liked seeing Iono bloating up live on stream, it was inevitable that copycats would follow.

>Never bothered with any of the Hoyoverse games, but the story's actually solid on Star Rail?
That depends on several things, mainly on who you ask and on what part of the story you're referring to because you'll get wildly different answers. I'll give you mine.
Overall, it's a mixed bag, as expected from Hoyo. I find it starts out fine in the beginning areas of the game, turns into authentic, good-hearted kino on the first planet you visit, pivots into trite wuxia chinawank immediately after, and then there's one of the biggest squandered opportunities narratively speaking in recent memory in the Penacony arc.
The most recent arc, Amphoreus, is probably the most controversial. Some people seem to hate it because of how long it drags out for and for how 'inconsequential' the events seem to be at first and even looking back, and they're very vocal and passionate about it. Some others, like myself, think it's the best the game has to offer, bar none. Sure it's complex, long, and the dialogues are unnecessarily flowery and poetic, but it's really a beautiful story with beautiful characters that while initially very disconnected from the game's universe as a whole, it quickly starts interweaving familiar concepts, themes, and characters into the mix until it all clicks and you're back in your space opera epic, with a heavy greek tragedy dressing and a kicker of a finale to boot. Very bittersweet all throughout, too, which I enjoy a lot.
I don't know if I can recommend it to an outsider, though. It's most definitely not for everyone and you'd still have to get through a lot of reading of variable quality just to get to it, and if you don't like Star Rail's base 4 niggas in a row + closed level exploration formula then you probably won't enjoy it at all. It's a gacha too, and many people take issue with that as well.

Always appreciate your words. I don't always think much of the shading, but I'm glad it stands out.
How's FFTA2 compared to the first?
>>79364952
Appreciate the rundown. I don't think it's necessarily for me, but I do like the effort that's clearly put into the story and game. Especially when players like yourself find so much beauty in what's offered and how it all comes together. I can dig that, and I'll say this much, I wish more game stories were willing to go that hard.
>>79365101
I did want to do more of the nymphs but the thread died and I ran out of time. I did some a while back but more normal, and I'd like to draw them all plumped up now I'm a bit more confident in my abilities. Something for later though.

/a/'s love of Emi and the fat elves warms my heart.
>>79365456
Story is more laid back as Luso is looking to go back, but doesn't mind taking his sweet time about it. Overall its more light hearted from what I've seen. Gameplay is the same but now laws don't punish you nearly as badly for breaking them, just revoking a buff you choose in the beginning and reducing the amount of loot you get in the end of the battle. You also have to focus on loot as its how you get more weapons in this game as shops don't come with more stock, but rather what items you bring in for them to make new gear, so having a thief is more important for aiding in that.

Truly this is a heroine that doesn't mind a few pounds!
Granted, I think she can actually make her bodyfat into new weapons and items, if I remember right, so she may not mind it 'that' much.
>>
>>79370364
Being fat may work for her benefit since that way she can create more stuff and slim down without getting unhealthy and repeat a process of bulking -> getting thinner -> bulking again.
>>
>>79370699
>She ends up developing a fetish for fattening up.
>After a bit of extended heroing when she's back in her 'peak' figure, she immediately comes back after to start bulking up again.

I'm committed to my bit of beating Shadow the Hedgehog before King of /v/ starts. 3 endings down, 7 more to go and 2-3 weeks do it.
It's impressive how a game can look so decent from the outside, but completely collapse in on itself when you play it due to terrible controls and game feel. I swear the homing attack feels like it has a Paper Mario-like "bounce cap" and if you go over it you will just homing attack in a completely random direction (and likely into a pit).
In more positive news I finally beat SOme Bullshit and I really enjoyed it. At 40 hour completion time doing 100%, it's a lot longer than I thought it would be, but I really became attached to the silly cast of characters over that duration, the Paper Mario style role call credits parade was really touching.
