A few threads ago some anon was asking me about what I think about Wanigamu. (he's probably the dev or something)Since I finally finished the mod, I decided to share my thoughts here.BTW I played the mod first over a year ago when there was hardly any content (I think it was v0.2?) and played version v0.6 a few days ago.1 - There is a huge difference in Inco's monologue quality (and quantity) between the beginning of the game and the newest parts of the mod. It was a fucking slog to read through his internal monologues at the beginning, like it's the most inane stupid bullshit that one can read. You could literally halve the internal monologue lines player is bombarded with whenever Inco is alone and nothing of value is lost. Said lines that Inco thinks to himself when the scene is with another person are MUCH more bearable.Admittedly later chapters (or Mia route) are much better with the useless Inco fluff, but early chapters are a fucking misery. I really wish there was "skip Inco's tangents" button above the normal "skip" one. I cannot wait for the rewrite of early game.2 - Olivia is as uninteresting, ugly and unappealing as she was over a year ago. Like, there is no good reason to interact with her - there is no "hook", nothing of interest, she doesn't even look hot (like Wani Olivia) to attract people to her. The fact that she's advertised as a painter by Damien, yet we see only ONE of her paintings (the Inco one) in the early game is criminal. Even people at Cavemanon gave her much better hook in Wani (and in that game you can only be with her)Her later scenes are much better, but the early game is atrocious.Perhaps if the painting scene was put in the game earlier, it would make me consider dealing with her. Or at least show player some other painting she made and have Inco be intrigued.I hope that early game Olivia will also have a rewrite (and better sprites)
