Hello all, I recently did a thing for hmofa where I parsed desuarchive for every OP creation to look at the speed of the general, and decided to use the same code for adhg. This graph is actually very interesting as we see that crazy activity spike we had in 2022, among other ups and downs. Hmofa's graph was fairly linear. I also added a couple significant dates as plot points in this chart. From how I remember it, the "writer who was suicide-baiting", really just disappeared for awhile after consistent and constant thread oc contribution, so people got worried and were trying to reach out him. Then a month later he made one last post saying he was leaving due to the overwhelming presence of ai in the thread overshadowing the artists and writers in the general (which was true, and sparked up another writer to say that he also stopped writing greens for that same reason). Also on "nobody liking their shit", I don't think this was ever brought up by the thread as everyone liked his works and did many request fillings.A couple months later there was a writing competition in which this writer who said he left came back to submit a story to this competition. The results for the competition was only decided by the anonymous host of the competition, just saying "the thread favorite". It was never really obvious what story was the thread's favorite, no polls or anything was held. Anyway, he won the competition and that was that. Not that it didn't deserve to win, imo every story submitted was really good and I would've had a hard time deciding the winner, but my theory is since he was such a prolific figure for the thread, he was given the win in hopes he would come back and make stuff for the thread again. Or alternatively he was the host of the competition himself, we will never know. Anyway, thats enough off topic thread drama.
