Merry Christmas everyone!
>>80148919You too Knightbro
Today is a day for the fat wives to show off their 'hard work'
my christmas gift this year is finding out that my "tech expert" father who literally went to college for computer science threw away the laptop that i had for the entirety of my teenage years when the only problem in the end was that it couldn't charge.if he didnt, the drives would've only been offline for six years and i could've very easily just pulled the data off of them (and even then they should still be good for proper usage)what did you guys get?
>>80149842Well I'm a 30year old boomer so some some clothes, a coffee gift card, small stuff like that.As for the laptopWas it a dead battery or busted power supply? The former is a pain in the rear with most modern laptops as they moved them inside the case and laptop frames are NOT fun to try and take apart.
>>80149895the charging port broke off the motherboard, all the other parts were fine and could've at the very least been resold.i could've taken the drives out of it and plugged them into my current PC at any time (a practically free SSD would've been welcome with the way the market's currently going...)im disappointed that i didnt think of it sooner but fucking hell, its literally his job to know this crap.and of course there's the data security risk, if someone found that in the trash i could've lost all my accounts.
>>80150113Yeah, I generally pop my harddrives out whenever I pitch a laptop. At the very least that could've been removed.
>>80149842I'm sorry to hear that, anon. I got me some pokemon plushies, Xenoblade X, and a PSN giftcard
>playing japanese CV3 for the first time>loving Grant's knife throws and more reasonable damage>do well against enemies but fail so hard on platforming for some reasonThe US version its the opposite. Feels weird but its CV3 so fucking up is the norm I guess.
