I replayed Chapter 4 with my girlfriend beside me who had never played it before and even she realised without me even telling her that Suselle is toxic. And she would never notice stuff like that normally. So I think we have some definitive proof there.

These things can't be ignored if they're to ever be in a relationship but despite their issues it's apparent that their feelings for each other are sincere.Noelle specifically has certain oddities when it comes to pursuing a relationship with Susie that makes even a fledgling relationship sort of shaky. I don't need to reiterate—it's beating a dead horse—but it can be hard to tell where the "real" Noelle begins and ends when she's around Susie. Many moments in the mansion emblemize this for me IMO. Noelle has so many backed-up feelings for Kris during that segment, especially their intimate association with the Ferris wheel, that she can't even give Susie a straight answer on what riding one with Kris *means* to her.It just paints a picture that Noelle needs to work through some things before diving into a relationship. Shipping bias aside, I don't think it's too ludicrous to believe that future chapters will involve relationship drama so I guess we should stay peeled.
