I’ve been going down memory lane looking through Swatcher’s old stuff and surprisingly finding it really appealing. I remeber it was some of the first stuff I ever found in tf, and back then all it ever did was make me feel slightly uncomfortable with its uncanny valley effect. I find it funny they rely on charging pads to a degree despite being able to convert people seemingly very easily (as the second game implies), like in the cafe game you've got a shitty battery life to operate at peak performance with. Synths canonically aren't that much better but at least have some wireless charging methods to lessen the burden.From what I've seen, these seem to work best without any animated mouth.

>>80408790I like the idea that he defies the odds and lives. He gets injected by whatever agent transforms people but she eventually just loses patience and pushes him out of the shuttle because he just isn't going to fit in with her plans. So he falls but somehow lives long enough for the transformation agent to change him. Gets found by a lone stranger who's not plugged into any current events due to their isolation. All while the victim is perhaps in a strange, half way state and is lucky enough the stranger doesn't just opt to put him out of his misery. Now he's having to live with how he might as well be dead. Everyone thinks he is, even if his consciousness survived. Maybe he's split with having a second opportunity to expose the conspiracy and having a second chance at life. I mean, the conspiracy resorted to murder pretty damn quick when they knew he found out.
