so glad you asked! Each group of four was designed to be a friend group, with each of their own inner workings, so Im happy to talk about this since it definitely wont get reflected in the comic.
First row: The Rejects! Chico and Moxy are Lenny's lifelong friends, and Teddy is the son of their friend that died in the same incident that injured Lenny. Moxy uses her millionaire wealth to adopt him, but in case of time spent together, the other two are more parents to him. My plan for these guys would be that Lenny's friends sorta go along with his nerd tabletop games because they feel bad for him.

ROW 2: The Offbrands, here i dipped my hand at other fangame references, kinda like how Roommates has a Candy and Cindy reference, or that chapter with all those Chuck E. Cheese references. Pip definitely tries to keep himself front and center, but hes easily agitated and very argumentative, so the more critical Perse tends to have to take charge socially, or they'd never get anything done! Rachel is more in her world- or more like your world, kind of just a chronic Boundaries breaker space invader that her friends put up with cuz shes just kinda autistic. I Made Owlivia to be a direct counter to Marion, as an overly prepared compliment fishing asshole woman, thats very nervous and does just want to please. They have the dynamic of group to steer clear from. I do think they just enjoy dnd all together.
Group three: The Originals. Here i just made a ton of original characters! Kinda like how roth is original. Eelijah is a difficult to understand foreigner, the pigs are a crazy size diff korean tourist couple, and the cat is their friend thats actually from this area.
