It's a system that allows a plug to enter a socket. You can create objects that allow you to test it without a partner, but it's more fun with someone else.

Slimes are cheap, jank, but also lack many inconvenient downsides vive trackers have, eg, no base station, operates entirely on wifi or a single USB esb dongle, can be covered up entirely, not sensitive to reflective surfaces in the room.

I've only used slimes. I'm fully satisfied with how good it is for the price. The amount of drift with the latest ICM modules is completely manageable. Once you get them set up, the software is surprisingly polished for a community project. The smol slimes have very good battery life and can be very small, which is good for comfort.
