This will turn most people away out of the gate.The amount of attention people will give you goes up the more time they spent with you (to a point) so the key is to put things that require the least amount of investment upfront, and then put the high investment stuff (discussing story and offering play) later on. This is part of what dropdowns are useful for, but you have to hook people before that. True, this is a writing website, but there's lots of people they could write with, so you need to give them a reason to give your profile the time of day. Most profiles just do this by putting dicks, ass, and tits front and center along with bright colors, but you can get clever with it.

IC approaches are a good measure of someone who will be a good partner. If someone cannot fathom being able to write an IC approach, they're a midwit. Sub-par. A shitter, if you will. It means they lack several factors which would make for a good scene. Someone with: a well-suited character, creativity, openness, desire, and confidence... they are comfortable with doing IC starts because there is little need to talk things out. However a player who is very strict in what they are looking for and are essentially seeking a partner to fill out a list of kinks of which the character matters little... these are the sorts who require deep 'story' planning.
