I started thinking about what Puppy would do later in life, and Im strongly considering she becomes a writer. Updates for the game once more. One of my artists told me that some of his friends from the thread here even wondered if a game was being made, so this time I'll be posting some screenshots to show more decisive work being done.I'm going to be releasing another test deployment tomorrow that has actual art implemented into the game. As you can see, UI updates, maps, and some character portraits and sprites have been added to the game.The one thing that I'm not exactly happy with is the maps. As you can see in pic related (bottom left), the maps use a top down style based on assets I use for my TTRPG games. Though it looks fine, it clashes with the sprite and art styles used by my artists (you can tell from the lovely wagoner sprite how out of place it is compared to the map). For now, the maps will be made as such however in the future I'd like to have someone do a paintover for the maps to make it line up better with the rest of the game's artstyle. That's a lot of work though since each layer needs a different paintover to make sure the character sprites in game are layered properly, hence why I'm putting it off until after demo deployment.At current pace things are looking for a proper demo deployment in 1-2 weeks. I'm a huge fan of that, probably have well over 30k hours GMing games across 12 years or so now, so I'm much more comfortable making maps in that style than using tilesets.

I was thinking something like 5$ USD on itch.io and steam.However, I do plan on releasing the game here for free; hopefully people making the thread OPs won't mind adding a link to the MEGA where I'll share the dl link.I also plan on having it released on F95zone for free as well, since that's one of the few places where porn games / 18+ games are looked and sought after.Something I'm still deciding though is setting up a kickstarter. I'd like to get some initial funds if possible so I can pay not just myself but the artists helping me during development. Though I understand that is a tall order, especially if I try to shill it here. I'm a completely unknown dev making a first time game; even if I release a demo to show what I'm capable of it's understandable for people to be skeptical of donating to me, given how many incomplete Hgames exist (you can see this from how many "abandoned" tags there are on F95zone).
