>>80575316His whole deal is just about gigaboosting a single member of your team, so if you have a character who's super good in a particular battle he can give them super high attack and extra turns. Downside is he isn't doing anything for the other three team members but if you have a designated carry teammate already he makes them an ever bigger carry

>>80584099No, I fully meant what I said. Hector IS submissive - that's entirely obvious. But he's not a "wuss", at least not in the way that certain other furry games characters are. He isn't constantly self-deprecating or rife with internal self-loathing like say, Caelan or Marco or Tucker, or he'll even Luke are. In fact, his internal narration makes it pretty clear that he's closer to a tightly wound-up ball of rage and spite that just happens to promote a soft, professional and demure image to the world due to how Eogan raised him and he outright acknowledges this in Chapter 12. He's fully willing to shift his attitude to Manoel from "I respect this man and he has saved my ass from the fire more times than I can count with his books" to " I want you to fuck off and die" pretty much the moment he has to deal with the man in his second encounter and only keeps it together because he has an incredible poker face, the instant he gets drunk and starts letting loose a bit more he is giddily cheering and laughing at the fact Cadgan terrified a booth owner with fear for his own life, and Chapter 12's little dream sequence is all about him letting that rage come to the forefront as he curses out Manoel and basically everyone else. He's also pretty blatantly a massive fucking slut - given he can barely keep his libido in check, and whilst it's mostly Cadgan that causes it, seeing the wolves during that whole Hazeleaf Festival also starts getting him riled up. The only reason the dude isn't sucking and fucking his way across town is purely because of the fact he needs to present professionalism as a doctor. >cont

He WANTS someone (specifically the old Cadgan) aggressive and domineering to take control and ruin him, because he was denied freedom and self-expression by Eogan to the point that Cadgan giving him a mere taste has made it into not just his kink but an obsessive need for him. He's a mess of heavily buried choked-down anger and a desire to escape from just being seen as "Eogan's masterpiece" and to him, Cadgan is that escape. The entire reason he wants Cadgan to bully him is because that's the Cadgan who gave him that release valve, the means to vent all the stress of having a life carefully chosen for him to the point nobody sees him as anything but a magnum opus "20 years in the making and counting". The dream sequence in Chapter 12 once again spells this out, with him not even getting mad or feeling insulted by Dream!Cadgan chewing him the fuck out, but crying heavy tears from seeing the version of the man he loves - even when he knows it's fake. He admits to outright being disappointed every time he screwed up and didn't get bullied or mocked in response, because the fire Cadgan once had just wasn't there anymore in his eyes. Hector is a deeply, deeply broken man behind the face he presents to the wider world. I think the best equivalent I could give is that he's...basically Alex from Soulcreek but without the murderous/genocidal tendencies. He's someone who got a glimpse of what having freedom, breaking rules is like, and was then forced right back into being a spineless doctor because that's what his father wanted to make of him. His mental state purely associates Cadgan's bullying with the liberation he craves.
