This isn't directed at anyone in particular but does anyone else really hate the hyper-realistic style that seems quite popular? It delves far too much into uncanny valley territory for me. Seeing characters like pokemon as if they were actually real is a turn-off, weirdly. It's cool that AI can do that but the age old adage; just because you can doesn't mean you should.
