If Whump's image his fat tits, scary things, body horror and guro, then that's what he has curated for his sphere of relevance; it's what is expected out of him. Drawing two characters being intimate who, under normal circumstances, exhibit a considerable age gap, is clearly not part of his natural output. Not to mention what associations typically crop up with those two are being shipped. But he did, and tastefully, and I'm happy for that.
