Even if you wanted to train it with text, it still wouldn't get it because its latent becomes an indecipherable mess with thinner fonts, which most images with text inside of them will have. SDXL's TE CLIP_L+CLIP_G getting trained away from natural language doesn't really have much to do with its inability to render text, though both are blunt instruments at heart.Even if you captioned pic related perfectly to where it would fully understand everything, the text is just indecipherable glyphs that will hallucinate to something else anyway.

Non-/sdg/ aligned models can help set scenes and fix things that Noob et al can't, as InvokeAnon has shown us many times now. Hardest part is transferring the edit back to the original model and keeping it intact as you continue to upscale/inpaint the gen.
