Something I remembered from the Jorogumo character was that Arachne was also mentioned as the other allusion, the weaver that embarrassed Athena with a well-made tapestry of all the gods' flaws and was subsequently turned into a spider. I also like the Kojiro character idea that was discussed last thread. What should he look like? Also would he be rebellious or no-nonsense due to his upbringing?

Finally got a commission of the Malachite boys done from a friend, obviously I went ahead and tweaked their designs a bit, gave Melodias a "black" hairstyle to set him apart from Maverick who's honestly not too different from his gens just a bit simpler in design, and JJ has Spider themed Yakuza tattoos and longer hair. people are free to ignore them and just prefer the gens if they want but this is how they've looked in my head for a minute, JJ with the tats and hair especially but I also knew I wanted the twins to appear more obviously mixed.

He takes a round directly to the chest and shattering his aura. He falls onto his back and starts wheezing from an unknown injury. Then the explosions, Jet’s flashbang went off before they could get the grenade he kicked back. It ends up somewhere in the room and detonates. You take that time to cross the door and dump everything you have to keep their heads down so you can make it to Jet. You grab his jacket and start to drag him away from the opening before something warm splatters all over your ears. A cultist lands on his side, his face replaced with concrete on the other side of his head.

Lupin sits back against the cave wall and stares as Jet eventually comes back to normal, and plucks the needle out of his chest. He doesn’t get up, just looks at the ceiling.

>>81119250Its actually because they dont have massive numbers, and neither do Onyx and Asher, that making that cave a hideout is actually a bad idea. Strongpoints in the sea of sand are so critical that now its known. Being known brings trouble for both sides that cant really afford attention. The cult as far as I know is mostly auraless goons, so a frontal assault by a huntsman is death for everyone involved. On the inverse, Asher and Onyx have to sleep and eat. Poison, sappers, gas attacks, heavy weapon ambushes in a choke point, whatever tools exist to kill people with aura. You get the idea. Its an intel non-starter, because now both sides know of it.
