This is a thread for my own alternative bot to the Glory Hole Bot, another option to mess around with while its down or if you just feel like it. It's already fully functional for a few days now and even has some users already.If you don't know what that bot is, it's a /dft/ bot that anonymously (as discord gets) matches milkers with milkees, or people that are just looking to chat/trade/swap without picking any sides. When you join you get your own lobby room where you input commands and enter a queue. Once a match is found, you get a temporary room and the bot will relay messages from you to the other anon and vice versa. That way both of you are kept anonymous from each other and from prying bots. Conversations and temp rooms are deleted after you're done fappy chatting. Note that this bot is not from the same dev as >>81106974, but it works pretty much the same way in the same format. You can also read that post for a more extended summary, pretty much exactly how I feel too.As for me I'm an anon dev that wanted to make an alternative to it seeing as it was down for who knows when. If you want to wait to use the original bot go ahead. This is just another choice or alternative to use. I am making my own features and cool things I really wanted implemented myself though. Dropping a big update, type /tags for (hopefully) a much better experience. Just trying it would be a better explanation but basically it lets you add preferences so you more often match with other anons similar to yours, IF you set them. If you don't youll most likely match with other anons (that havent set theirs either) as usual. The more people that set at least a few tags, the better. I could go over all the different combinations but it should "just work" for now. I'll explain it better later. Just keep in mind its a rough draft and I didn't architect it super good yet so later some tags might need to be re-entered or the whole system reworked. Tag names might also change etc. due to discord limits.Either way im sure there will still be the occasional seething!!! but I'm certain that this will be a big improvement.There are also a lot more changes, fixes I did but I just want you guys trying the above feature for now and see how it is. It helps by putting things you dont necesarrily need but that you like and then bring it up, but its in someone elses strong dislikes and then you get terminated. It prevents or mitigates that situation. I think its in everyone's best interests to fill out a few tags in the "Open To" so that the "Wont Do" (blacklist) is effective. The whitelist (Must Have) might be too much right now cause it filters too strongly on top of everything, it was just for completeness but unelss theres more people and we all fill it out a little, it will just prevent any matches (probably) for a while until people start using this feature.Anyway I recommended just doing Open To for now, and occasionally using Wont Do.
