official pony thread
Getting soaked outside was not on my agenda today. But I could always do with a good soaking in the bathroom to fix it all up.
>>81400252it's nasty here too.
>>81400311If Luna's dumbass sister kept the rain away, it wouldn't be such a big deal.So far it has rained every day in Britain. But at least Saturday is slated for dry weather, perfect for a mini-vacation away from the countryside.
>>81400845it's going to rain all weekend here.
>>81400845>>81401354
>>81401354Shoot, hopefully your weekend is at least favourable in other ways.>>81401612Texas in the dry is no surprise to me.If it becomes safe to travel to the US again, then I might sneak over and escape our rains.
>>81401707
>>81401845They really aught to shower more, baka
>>81401612just desert things.>>81401707i'll get by.
>>81401971Go to Houston and wait for the summer monsoon.>>81402012Yes, the desert that in places gets over 50 inches of rain and is actually forest and marshland.
>>81401971Or central Texas (flash flood alley) if you want a bath with that shower.

>>81404329another desert classic.
>>81406222Just look at this desert.
>>81406503standard desert scrub brush
>>81406894You're looking at a wetland. Those are marsh plants.
>>81407056what a lovely oasis.
>>81407143Yes, an oasis that stretches ~370 miles.
>>81407143Perhaps you're having trouble understanding because your state isn't as ecologically rich.
>>81408588i wouldn't know. i prefer not to go out in the bug ridden nature.
>>81408866Texas has about 1/3 of all the insect species in America.
Including about 85 species of mosquitoes vs Georgia's 63.
>>81409143quite an accomplishment.
I heard bugs being mentioned.
>>81409826If we are being liberal with the definition of bug, Texas as over 900 species of spider.
>>81409965I saw this large spider in my room recently. It's a fitting reason why I've not seen any moths or other pests for a while now.Looked like something that could bite, but not particularly dangerous.Havent got the photo, but I'll share something here if I see it again.
>>81410094Around here its a good chance it would be a wolf spider.
>>81410341This one was black. About the length of my thumb. Maybe a bit red at the belly. The inspectors were around in my room a week or two ago, so it mightve been chased away. Perhaps hiding. :3
>>81410806
>>81410964It was more a subtle dark red tone on its' back, with no white markingsLooked a bit smaller than that I'd say
>>81411710Can't really tell by the picture but black widows are small; pea sized not including the legs. I also don't think you have them.
>>81411765Yeah it's more likely a darker huntsman
