I've been playing some games with Pauline in them this year in preparation for hopefully making some more captions starring her eventually. I finished Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 in January and I finished Donkey Kong '94 (the Game Boy one) just yesterday. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed both games, and also by how much more I started to appreciate Pauline. It goes without saying that neither game game has an intricate storyline, but the way her relationship with Mario predates him becoming the Hero of the Mushroom Kingdom is kinda neat.
Got some good typesetting progress in tonight; my new cap should be about halfway done now. I'm busy all day tomorrow, so the current plan is to publish this one on Sunday and then hopefully a second one later in the week. See you guys then!
