Hi /scaly/, I've finished another draft sketch of the interior of the Claw, this time from the point of view of a customer entering through the front doors. Like the other sketch I'll be using this draft to come up with the backgrounds for the Claw scenes, but this one is also useful for doing the BG for the Sarah CG.It looks small, but ultimately I was limited by the size of the paper so for the final piece I will stretch it out longer. I also included more of the art nouveau snek pillars and wood carvings on the bar itself/door. I imagine them to also be of a darker wood, reflecting a more late Victorian/early Edwardian style of pub found over in the UK (aesthetically these were my favorites to go to on my trip).Would >(You) go for a drink here with your scaly SO?

>>81545599Yep. If you've done traditional there's a period where things feel off, and you don't look at your hand when drawing which is a bit weird, but it works fine. Just remember to find a stabilizer option that feels just right.

Those are two different things.Honestly there isn’t much difference between a Wacom and other chink brands like XP-PEN or Huion when you’re talking about their beginner tablets. That said, the Intuos is still a solid option, and Wacom is still generally the best at what they do. Just make sure you get the MEDIUM version, not the small one. A google search can show you why.If you’re a beginner to drawing in general, then for the love of god stick to regular copy paper, a normal eraser, and a 2B pencil for at least 3-6 months, and get some of those fundamentals down, even if your end goal is purely digital. If you try to learn digital on top of learning how to draw, you’ll want to kill yourself FAST, and you might end up giving up on drawing entirely. Digital also means learning your drawing software and building hand-eye coordination with the tablet, and that’s not something you pick up in a couple of days.
