Genshin's newest character, Linnea was just revealed; a Fae that works as an advisor to the Adventurer's Guild. She seems like a fun peppy character, and I'm excited to have more people affiliated with the Guild.

Hello thread.

Think I'm suffering from a cold or flu, and can't really write today... hopefully I can get some help with outlining though, cause I've been stuck for a couple of days. Wanted to get back Jayden's Cursed Tabletop Game cause it's been a month.

I've been thinking I should shrink the cast a bit as I'm coming to the end of the story. I've considered maybe killing off Elizabeth (not permanently) since I can't figure out what role she might play moving forward. But I don't think I can have Tsubara find out because she's very protective of her and would get VERY aggro if she found out about this.

I'm wondering how I reintroduce the Siren- the idea being she's had her main villain role usurped from her by the Void Father- and she wanted to take-over the world while he wants to destroy it. I want to establish her plan to summon him was a bad one. I'm picturing there's a 'villain hangout' at a tavern, I'm just wondering what I have her do until that happens.

With Jayden I'm thinking the basic gist is she's losing the ability to control things because literally the story is getting away from her and taking a life of its own. I'm thinking that Jayden's injured but wants to get killed off because she wants to go from her DMPC form to her DM form, and she can't actually inhabit both at the same time. But I don't know what I'd do with her DM form either, since that should be a satisfying cap-off to her story (until the epilogue).

Where I'm at right now is Lucy, Tsubara and Beck clearing the rubble in some tunnels, and I'm thinking they encounter the Void-Father playing pranks on the Mother Goddess, but I figure I should figure out what I want for each of the characters (already dealt with monica, the ice-vampire, and I have a plan for Eveline).

Can anyone help me figure this out? I'm currently very stuck.

Mona and Layla meet up with Nahida a few days after the last chapter, so she can thank them and answer any questions.
Alhaithem and Kaveh bicker on while dropping off some files about the Sages, Mona jumps at the opportunity to stop their arguing in front of the Dendro archon (get spitroasted.)
Now alone with Nahida, Layla becomes an anxious wreck, the 'Other' Layla takes control, and gets them back on conversation.

According to the files Alhaithem gave, the Sages knew of Pink Energy's extreme reactivity with Dendro, but kept it secret to only themselves.
The people are gradually coming to their senses that Sumeru isn't the Nation of Fertility, but there isn't any signs that the transformations they've undergone (Nahida included) will revert.
They discuss Sumeru's future with Elgana, but it's very iffy with all of the previous circumstances.

Could have her slowly realise that she still doesn't have control of things. There have been plenty of DND campaigns where the DM still loses control of things.

For Elizabeth- I just don't know how to do the reveal. I was thinking though this in part justifies a reason to turn Lucy into a Void Elf. I don't know if I'd get to it this chapter, but I was thinking Lucy doesn't quite side with the Void-Father, but joins him thinking she can 'power of friendship' him.

For Jayden I just don't have much for her to do for the rest of the story as is. Or many ways she'd interact with the other main characters. Up until now she's been quite cagey at how much she's aware of things, and now the jig is up. But I'm not ready for her to just straight up admit that she's been driving everything. Hence I'm thinking I should get rid of her DMPC form, but I don't know how. I don't think the Void-Father would out-and-out kill her, because a part of him does respect her. But then- even if I do get rid of her, I want the excuse to use her DM form and I don't know when I can have that happen.

Though- maybe I work in one of the other plot-threads I was thinking of? Which is that the Sun-Elves/Desert-Orcs/Lich have actually been doing a sting operation and are there to help the good guys. Another example of the plot running away from Jayden as she wanted that plot-thread wrapped up. So maybe I can use some of the 'spare' characters to explore that plot-thread?

Also- how I was basically thinking of wrapping things up is Beck as the Chosen One has to kill the Void-Father (which he does NOT want to do) using the Mother-Goddess in the form of a sword (which would represent her effective exit from the story). While supported by the Sun-Elves/Desert-Orcs. And while he's grappling with 'chosen one' stuff, we see Lucy with the Void-Father in a tavern where we get a better look at his personality.

Then a big gigantic anime fight, and story's done.
