Well that would be a lie, Anon. The biggest focus of the Deriver was to make a character that condenses Doom's arsenal of 8 weapons down into 4, and to also provide a BYOC character that's extremely streamlined: No meters, no extra buttons, nothing too extraneous. Just primary fire to shoot guns and altfire to do sword stuff, all wrapped up in a chevron-laden package.
