A gluttony worshiper doesn't mind being messy. And I especially love the last idea of whoever she haunts being at least somewhat willing, like it's Halloween and a goth witch chick heard the rumor and messed around and didn't expect to actually invite a ghost into her body. She's fine with it for a while until her weight gain keeps accelerating past 300, 400, 500 pounds, and her new body-mate has absolutely zero interest in dieting or leaving or ever not eating again. If anything she's getting worse over time, and letting the ghost have free reign so often is dulling the goth girls self control too...not to mention her ever growing body is getting greedier too even without the ghost encouraging it. (I'm not into health issues so I'd have the ghost girl use some ghostly shit to keep her host healthy even as she keeps getting more and more gigantic, maybe some ghost power mobility buff too)
