The whole franchise is a lot less violent and significantly more esoteric sci fi than doom, and it's also a lot slower in terms of gameplay. We're i bungie I'd have leaned more into the tactical aspects of the gameplay and tried to really hone in on that slow, scary atmosphere that they tried to achieve. Not that doom 2016 is a bad game, it's one of my favorites. I just don't think it would have worked for marathon
