I haven't watched Urusei Yatsura but Lum is pretty cute. And despite that, I do like the idea of someone like her becoming so fat that her gut drags along the ground whenever she attempts to fly. That kind of thing is really hot in my opinion.

Mothers feeding their fat daughters is a pretty common trope but I've been thinking about a subversion of that trope by inverting the roles.>Mom is super obese, to the point the daughter is almost a caretaker>She tries to lose weight so she can be a regular mother >She notices her daughter seems to be deliberately sabotaging her efforts>When confronted, the daughter admits she thinks having a fat mom is more fun, and she actually finds the caretaking duties to be fulfilling>Mom is not sure how to handle this
