Basically yes. We went to several states here in the US to hit up amusement parks and picked up lots of Zoot goodies along the way. Mostly for myself, he seemed reluctant to buy much of anything for himself despite me insisting he should get things if he wants or to have souvenirs and stuff. I'll post the merch haul eventually, but I'm kinda overwhelmed with all the bags and stuff in my tiny room right now.

There is a level of disconnect when the shipping gets even more specific with characters from other settings, too. I can't wrap my head on him + Dawn, Friedkin, Karen, Sam or Hurriet.

People are stuck on Jack x Skye because it's a fandom pairing with inertia. Them being the alternate Nick and Judy (with a bit of a spy twist), kind of filling a gender swap AU role, and just getting a lot of attention early on solidified them as a pair. Then from there it's just a self-propagating association as people kept shipping them and seeing them get shipped. Not even saying that's a bad thing by itself, just how fandom works. I thought there had not been any official art or iterations where we could see Skye and Jack together; so unless we get early scripts or confirmation from Byron himself, who knows if these two were ever in the same universe to begin with. Umm... well. It's kind of complicated. I don't really know if Aussieanon wants me to discuss things publicly, but bf and I are in some sort of limbo. He told me multiple times he would leave, and because I have a hard time letting go emotionally, I haven't blocked him or made him go.

Aussie is extremely sweet, he's cute, he's kind and generous and everything a girl should want, but my fear of grief from losing bf is so strong I have let him stick around because my seven years with him is really influencing me.
