And the Demon King has Consortation(which she gives you), Necromancy, and Visceramancy.Personally I don't think the specific rank 6 magics they give are actually that good, 2 are slave contracts (that don't stack by the way, you can only have 1 source of "wish" power points) and Wands is meh. For Wands honestly the set bonus is much more useful than the rank 6. The strongest of the 3 would be the Demon King because her magics are more suited for direct combat, and of the 3 she also the only one you can actually replicate the build of since there is a necromancy set too. Merlin is a prepared caster, just take him unaware and you're done. Also I just realized while looking at this but there is thechnically one way to het one more rank 6 magic that isn't a set, or directly one at least. Consortation 6 asks for the sacrifice of a companion and lets you copy one of the characteristics they have, rank 6 magics are listed there.

If anything that's pretty realistic, Arcadia is the place where the people that want to live a normal, if magical, life go, declaring crusades would go against the whole point of that. The covents aren't accepted, they are treated like crime rings in reality, left alone to a degree because everyone knows that even if you wipe them out someone else will just take that spot again. Everyone knows that, they just don't want to admit it.
So is Wizard only really handicapped early on?Seems like you can easily just soulbound your rod to never not have an implement. And spell components have several options that negate that cost and is only really an initial limiter until you either bypass the need or bake them in to your rod vault.

I remember my last CYOA related dream, which happened after too long a night making my build guide; I was a CardCaptor fighting another CardCaptor, over in the Djinn controlled oasis. They were being an immoral dick and using capture techniques on innocent people, but dream me punished it by using Fusion on their cards - nothing in the rules prevent you from doing so with another's cards, after all. In the process, those cards became too strong for them to control, and since killing one's cardcaptor releases captured subjects I was able to easily convince the resultant super summon to my side quite easily. And then I woke up, thanked dream-me for showing me a tech I hadn't thought of in my waking hours, and added it to the guide.

It's more risky than I'd take as an unblind option but it's definitely not a dealbreaker.If I were going to make a change, it would probably be to swap DM for Auto-Calendar, which is an unalloyed benefit and might even be able to help me with ensuring a good introduction to the NG+ goddess. In the alternative, swap NG+ and Panopticon for Hub and Local Resources and make a real show out of the raids.

I actually think it feels kinda off that outside of legendary witches like Merlin, Enodia, and potentially (You), the strongest witches around are only as powerful as the weakest and most pathetic god of doorknobs. Letting you get a Rank 7 seems like the sort of thing that you'd need to focus your build around if it was a thing, since becoming a god means you're hyper-focusing on a concept to rule over, and everyone is going to be shooting for Rank 7 if it's available.
