I had a bunch of stuff I was going to bring up the other day that I didnt get around to but tonight my mind is kind of static-y. Something I do remember I'd been meaning to work on was a new batch of quests/missions and a few dungeons. Another thing is I was thinking of adding some NPC teams to flesh out the guild a little more in the background {and also add some people to mess about with for anyone inclined for writing fics and stuff}, give me an outlet for the altaholism without needing to RP extra stuff per se. I think the other thing was I want to update the maps a little more and also work on the layouts for the other towns and I still haven't fleshed out much of Cedar Valley yet. My main thoughts on that one was old japanese style carpentry everywhere and it being a lot more uptight than the other towns, hence why Nidorina got driven out.)

You could probably do something similar only with staff and indivdual NPCs.You don't really need to go all out with NPCs so a little summary rather than filling out a sheet and coming up with a backstory would suffice. What they like to do, how promiscuous they are, where you are most likely to find them, etc.I am really interested in layouts and whatnot though. Inkarnate could really help you make a detailed map without it taking hours and hours to try and do it by hand. That reminds me! As far as NPC teams go, it would be kinda funny to have one that is akin to Team Skull from the explorers of Time/Dark/Sky games. Just a group of assholes that formed a team to troll and fuck with people but never quite break any laws so they never get put away or kicked out of the guild. We probably need some low level antagonists just to cause trouble within the town, but that also keeps the stakes low for fun that everybody can hate on.)

(Let's brainstorm the jerk team comp! Feel free to put out better ideas, but they need to be at least competent and strong enough to do missions without too much trouble, but not so strong that they are ever a real threat if they show up during one of your missions to snatch up the reward after you've done all the work.)(I picture them as a self described "Gigachad" as the leader (but he thinks a Gigachad is the stereotypical "alpha male" asshole that becomes a cop or a youth sports coach so they can lord over people), a mean girl female character (You know the fake friend that loves nothing more than spreading rumors and gossiping), I'm not really sure what the 3rd member could be yet, but I was thinking maybe a mean spirited ghost type that loves cruel pranks. Think like a youtube prankster. Basically, I am thinking that they represent the classic toxic assholes that one might encounter in high school.)

The last abandonment was due to mining drying up in the area, although the town was mostly an outpost at that time. The time before that though there was an invading bandit army and a big showdown happened, most of the town evacuated to Lapras Bay and although the fight was won, the town and defenders were ravaged and opted to abandon the the place. I've been thinking on and off over time as to what some of the other calamaties were. One would be a mass surge of dunegon mons from the portals.)
