I also remember a drawing Weaver did of Beanpole wearing glasses like nerd Beanie and holding a DnD set. They're a little more similar than given credit for. It's just some of Beanpole's other personality traits were adapted into the other roommates Bonnies, notably her obsession with Mike was instilled into Bonbon. And like I established, any version of Beanie is perfect to me. The only real difference to me between Beanpole and Beanie is one is flesh and fur, the other is metal (and maybe synthetic fur?), and both feel equally good.
