If you have any ice types, they create cold storage rooms in the basements of abandoned buildings to freeze and preserve the meat for the winter, smoking the meat will also allow it to go months without spoiling. The waste from the animals can be used as fertilizer, so that might make berry growing faster. Animal birds can also eat things like stems and spoiled fruits and berries, often, so one ecosystem can support the other.She also says, with chickens, actually having -too many- of them too quickly might be a bigger issue than too few, so that’s something to think about. They can also fly surprisingly higher than people think so, keep that in mind. A roof, but proper ventilation; stagnant or damp air will spread diseases. That’s why you want to separate the “breeding stock” from the “meat stock” which, uh, are uncomfortable words to use but basically the ones you plan to eat should be fed a lot to get fat but if the breeding ones are overweight that creates health issues so you don’t want that. Also, probably have the larger species avoid raising them, at least at first, because they have strong prey instincts, so larger Pokemon will make them react scared.Actually, I was wrong about chickens being the best, though. Star says rabbits are actually even better. They have the fastest, um… “feed-to-meat conversion ratio.” And they are silent, would avoid drawing the type of attention that escaped chickens might, and require very little space. So, that’s a thing.
