Do anons have suggestions for best partners to redeem the points with or even specific routes from the USA to wherever. This could also apply for other credit card companies, but all I have right now is Amex, so I’m specifically asking about those. I know that Flying Blue offers some great deals, which get updated the first weekday of every month. 30k round trip transatlantic to Paris or Amsterdam sounds great, but has anyone who has done it know if it’s legit or you wind up needing to pay for a bunch of extras. I love Singapore because my 50k points get me a nice economy seat round trip which 2 checked bags, carry on, and seat selection. Also any suggestions for ways to try to snag good deals on first/business are appreciated.

I usually wait for one of the multiplier deals, but I find myself just redeeming statement credit more than I thought.

I don’t care about points/miles at all. The status upgrades like at Marriott and Avis are worth something, points or miles are just Monopoly money.
