What's there to do in and around Sydney besides the obvious tourist-y shit like going to the opera house?

The non-touristy stuff is just going to the beach or doing the same crap (malls, movies, clubs, pubs) that you can do in any other country. Don't waste your time or money in Australia, go to SEA, South America or other areas.

Shitney is a hole the CBD is full of mainlander chinese everywhere else is full of jeets. There's a few places that are nice on clear sunny day, but any fun Sydney has was gone by the mid 2010's because of all the thirdies moving here. Do the local tourist shit then head up to the Goldie its like Sydney on crack from the 2000's a lot more fun and cleaner overall. The beaches are nicer too.
