I'm planning a summit of Mt Rinjani in Indonesia.

>>2726836Based climb, anonI used to own a pair of Danner Mountain Light II boots. Would absolutely recommend them for hiking on talus and other difficult terrain. They are much lighter than a work boot, but very sturdy and suited for difficult terrain. I resoled my pair after wearing the soles out and used them quite a bit more until lack of leather maintenance caught up with me and the uppers started cracking up.

It's not a real climb it's just a tough hike. I did Mt Shasta in moab ventilators and it was fine. Mt rinjani is similar and has good trails
