I want to go to Thailand for one monthWould be 30+ days November up until before Christmas or after Christmas through JanuaryPlanning for next year and am currently taking Muay Thai as a fatty.Taking location out of the equation I would like my routine to be>Train 5-6 days a week Muay Thai >do the extra cardio either before or after class which is usually running or jump rope>Train Yoga 2-3 times a week>daily massage to help recovery and work through long time muscle imbalances and weakness>Swim every day I train and I love snorkeling>explore cool geography in Thailand with bike rental>would really like to rent a nice dual sport/enduro, a small one Not interested in exotic food unless its tasty fruitNot interested in much other than chicken breast and burgersSo please help plan by saying where you would stay, what gym you would go to, where you would party, where would you hikeIm open to spending time at multiple gyms in different areasMaybe start the trip by the beaches and end up near the big fight stadiums
options are krabi, phuket, islands or pattaya... basicallycause you want to swim n enjoycheck out different gyms in the areas you look at, try to find instagram/youtube posts or reviewsseems like a good plan, you have a year to not be a fatty5-6 days a week is quite a bit, even 3x would give good improvementgood luck bro, i have a similar plan
>>2732294>fat>thinks he can train 6 days a week multiple times in extremely humid conditionslmao
>>2732304refer to Blobtang
>>2732304OP probably isn't even that fat, and is just being sarcastic or lighthearted. He's probably like 200 pounds and looking to lose a little more, not the 600-pound monstrosity you see at the Walmart in Tucson.
>>2732294>5-6 days a weekHonestly why bother travelling overseas when the bulk of your time is going to be in a gym where a Thai guy humors you and gives general pointers on your form? You can get more or less the same experience in the west. Just do 2 days a week to maintain whatever you have learned. There's so much to do in Thailand, don't waste it being a gymcel for the majority of the time
>>2732360Any form of MMA training in the states is going to be 10x more than in Thailand, as well as shittier quality.
>>2732369not trueyou can do kickboxing for like $200 a month where I live and it's more than that for monthly passes in thailand
>>2732375Which gym in Thailand is charging $200+ a month for training not including room and board? There's a reason why pros go to Thailand to train. The quality one on one sessions with guys who have been training their whole lives for the price is hard to beat anywhere else. In the states you'll pay $200+/mo and may be lucky to find one or two guys who have trained and fought in Thailand for a few years at most.
>>2732304Philippines is currently quite a bit muggier than Thailand. Dewpoint is currently 80 F in Manila, 71 F in Bangkok. The Thai Peninsula is muggier than the northern interior, but highs down there are only reaching 85 F or so.
>op specifically says he wants to go to Thailand for muay Thai>tell him to do other things instead because he's just a gymcel if he does what he wanted to go to Thailand for
>>2732385fairtex in pattaya charges $430 usd per month of trainingjust trainingI could find dozens of other examples if you wantI agree the quality of training you can get in thailand is way higher and I am sure you can find gyms for under 200 but it's not just about the pricethe gym near me for example has a top 10 K1 kickboxer coaching there and it costs 200(canadian) per month for 6 days a week training, could be 2-3 sessions per day if you wanted
>>2732294Phuket is well set up for farang Muay Thai camps. You could go to Bangkok I guess if you don't mind the smog.
