Woman in my late 20s. Don’t really have a remote job yet but working on it.

Currently live in Bulgaria and it’s absolutely horrendous here.

Visited Norway and Denmark, figured Norway has more job opportunities.

Only other place I’m considering is Portugal because it’s cheaper than Spain despite not having job opportunities unless you’re in tech.

Want to move somewhere where the air is cleaner. Ideally somewhere where there are also better social safety nets, in case I become disabled or old. In Bulgaria most people past the age of 25 are completely miserable.

Willing to pursue further education as well.

If anyone has suggestions of places I should travel to to check out before making the move to Norway please do post.

I'm from Estonia and we have quite a sizable tech sector with a lot of remote work. A lot of foreigners work for Estonian companies.

I've lived in Norway before and although the nature is splendid, I found the culture and people there to be extremely rigid and boring without any out of the box thinking. Look up the Law of Jante and you'll understand what I mean.

That being said, the Poland and the Baltics are a good place to check out before you settle down.
