What is there to do in Tucson, Arizona?
>>2738062The obvious answer to your question is>nothingBut I'll try for you. The coolest thing in tuscon is the nuclear silo tour. There's also an excellent museum for aircraft at pima air & space. Scenic hikes can be found nearby. You could also catch a college football game.
>>2738062Pima Air and Space Museum, Sonora Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park, eat at a Taco Truck, Sabino Canyon, go golfing.
>>2738062The hostel in Tucson went out of business years ago. Proof that there is, in fact, nothing to do in the city. I slept on a park bench one night there then moved to a hotel next to I-10. Getting high and watching the endless stream of traffic roaring by on I-10, without a car of my own, burning $65 for one night indoors, it felt like I had picked a bad place to be traveling through. Next day I left for Yuma on the train. Two days after that I bought a minivan to sleep in.
>>2738062Leave
arizona is a horrific place to travel unless you go there specifically to fish, hunt or hike some of the sky islands
>>2738085>>2738757great suggestions, will try them all! thanks>>2739126>>2739135Where's better nearby? CA is nice for trips but idk about living anywhere there, especially with the insane cost of living. NV is only good short term for Vegas trips. CO is nice for skii trips. TX/NM seem like worse versions of AZ. UT seems just like northern AZ but with mormons.
>>2738062There's an SR71 in a museum. I went to see that. There's also mt lemon which you can drive up. There's a restaurant up at the top. There's tombstone close by as well. I stayed at the loews resort and didn't really venture much into the city at all.
>>2738062meth.
>>2738062drink
What's the demographics?
get skin cancer
>>2738062If the weather is right (like not 204F) Mira Vista Resort is a nice place to spend a day. Good weekend crowds, everybody naked, a fun bar/club on site with cheap booze and nude chicks. I think your first visit is free. Tell 'em Nardo sent ya'!
If anybody visited the Tuscon Museum of Art sometime between 2020 and 2022 or 2023 and took good photos of this Maya ceramic, email me and I will pay you money (as much as 200 USD if it's a really good photo, but at least 50 if it's decent enough for me to want at all) to allow it to be used on Wikimedia with a CC-BY license. My email is Saintseiyasource@gmail.com
>>2739135January is when everything kicks off in Quartzsite with the vanlife nomads. They camp out for free and have big parties around bonfires in the desert. LSD and shrooms get passed around, all kinds of quirky characters coming together and having a good time.
NothingNext fucking stupid question

>>2745611use justicemap.org for further inquiresyes, gay muh human rights humanities-faculty-esque name, but as a racist myself, as I'm sure you are, the site has proved invaluable for trip planning
>>2745612I’m Australian and I have no intention of travelling
I've lived here my whole life. I hate this city
>>2745608>>2745611>>2745612One summer, I travelled to Arizona and was really excited to meet Americans to put my spoken English to the test, as well as experiencing American cultureImagine my disappointment when 90% of people I meet were "fellow" Mexicans, and all TV channels are in Spanish. My eyes were opened.
By the way, what are good places to eat in Phoenix and Tucson? No beaner food, I can get that back home
>>2738062Visit the movie set to "Tombstone". A lot of westerns are shot there.
>>2746331Go to Phoenix then fag boy
>>2747939You traveled to Nogales.
>>2744989For why?
>>2738062>>2738085>>2739173These anons know. Also There is a bar downtown called "The Good Oak" that makes great cocktails. I would suggest their Old Fashioned and Whiskey Sour. It's a real whiskey sour with an egg.
>>2748075Seconded. I went here as a kid from New England and it was a lot of fun. I think I pissed off at least one reenactor by laughing at him rather than with him
>>2748148Phoenix, actually. Not that there's much of a difference.
Why is Tucson the only choice? I'd go to Colorado Springs.
>>2748175you're a dumbass. the more south phoenix or into tempe you are, the more Mexicans there are. go to scottsdale, north phoenix/deer valley, or even more west and you will see the difference in demographics.
>>2748149because I am autistically obsessed with Mesoamerican history and archeology and want to enable more free to use images of specific pieces and archeological sites to exist online
Does Arizona still have le blue McDonald's???!??!?
>>2748386I've gone as far as Flagstaff
