Will Syria be safe for tourism in the coming months?
>>2739791Hopefully. I'm looking forward to picking up cheap slaves.
you'll be a halal cocksleeve for the block warlord
>>2739791Yes Syria is now open and safe. Please my friend, breathe in deeply all Syria has to offer. ATMs are located at all major airport exits.
>>2739791I'm hoping the new government do a Taliban and try to appeal to the West by making tourism easyI've been to Syria before but would love to also see it post Assad and travel to the places you previously couldn't
>>2739791It’s actually a very interesting question. I think things will either be generally a lot safer than they have been, or shit is going to hit the fan as people who no longer have a common enemy start to turn on each other. I wouldn’t personally hurry over there in the next year or so, but I might be happy to in another eighteen months.
>>2740643So it's actually easy to get an Afghanistan tourist visa as an American? Or are you lucky Euros getting into yet another country hassle-free
>>2739983Hello sir, is blue eyed Syrian wife available right now, sir?
>>2739791Not for the foreseeable future, no. There is barely any semblance of a government, all the basic commodities (clean water, electricity, healthcare) are hard or impossible to come by in many parts of Syria, the country is still getting bombed by three different countries, there are active clashes between rival militias and rebel groups in several parts of the country, and it's likely there will be more clashes between different groups (mainly HTS and ENS/Turkey, which is another civil war just waiting to happen). Maybe, and that's a big maybe, you could be able on a heavily guarded tour organised by specialized agencies (kind of like in Somalia, where there are a handful of travel agencies which organise trips with heavy security escorts), but even for that it's likely going to take months or upwards of a year.Of course you can always say fuck it and go anyways. Right now is probably the best moment, since no government means that it's quite easy to slip past the border without anyone bothering you. But of course doing something like that is basically asking for horrible things to happen to you.
>>2740650It's easy you just have to visit the embassy Actually even before the Taliban came into power getting the visa was never really an issue it was the challenges once you arrived
>>2739791Coming months, no. Coming years, yes. The Middle East is going to quiet down and focus on growth mode as everything's being mobilised to counter eastern Eurasia. MBS is in alignment with the west, and the final hurdle has fallen. The 1 year transition period will see Syria by and large off limits to all but the seasoned hardcore, as they try and develop some type of systems and order, but after, they'll no doubt experiment with 'opening up' the country and trying to woo investors. Visas will be relaxed, and places like Damascus will start seeing some action. It'll probably be like Egypt in that you'll need permits and police escorts for anything spicy, which will cost a fair amount. The golden age will come in 3-5 years, where you'll be a small rockstar, and the west will start to be synonymous with progress and rebuilding again.
>>2740685>this is what delusional retarded americans actually believelmao
>>2740730Russia and Iran in the Levant have been utterly btfo and eliminated. There's no battles left to fight. Syria has no army and is utterly at the mercy of MBS, Israel, EU, USA, and Turkey, who are pretty much all on the same page. The Levant and Arabia have switched from a war footing to a growth footing, and parties will be spreading influence down the Red Sea and North Africa, and out into Persia and Central Asia. The new leaders in Syria have no choice but to be goodboiz, as they have no independent army, and are going to be bankrolled hard. Tourism for sure will be a major part of trying to drive growth (Mediterranean coast and Damascus). The Orontes Valley will be the insular conservative lands, very similar to how it is in Egypt. The exception is the Euphrates basin, but any issues there will be contained.
>>2739791Are you stupid? HTS which pretty much conquered most of the country is rebranded Al Nusra or the Syrian branch of Al qaeda. Plus Israel bombed the shit out of every military airport and most dual use infrastructure. Lots of countries their smaller regional airports are often dual civilian and military use. So I assume even flying to Syria will be very difficult and costly. The Israelis also bombed the shit out of the major port of Latakia and likely other ports. But yeah, go to Syria so you can get kidnapped by jihadists and run and cry to your government's embassy in Iraq because likely all Western governments don't have embassies in Syria, after you get fucked over and need to cry for help.
>>2740731>Syria has no army and is utterly at the mercy of MBS, Israel, EU, USA, and Turkey, who are pretty much all on the same page.Kek, you have no idea what you are talking about. Riyadh and the UAE have wanted to normailize with Assad for a long time but the cuntish Jewish lobby in the USA have blocked them from full normalization due to their viscous Caesar sanctions. Turkey's Erdogan has stated that he wants Turkey to become powerful enough to send troops to Gaza like it did to Nagarno-Karabakh, Syria and Libya:>https://www.timesofisrael.com/turkeys-erdogan-appears-to-issue-open-threat-to-invade-israel-over-war-in-gaza/The USA supports the presence of SDF rebels in Syria on behalf of the Zionist lobby, angering Turkey. You think they are on the same page because you are an unread fuckwit. Further HTS which was protected by Turkey considers Turkey and its military munafiq entities and thus future enemies:https://twitter.com/AbuJamajem/status/1250022198338883587"As for the substance of what Farghali told them:• HTS initially rationalized the Turkish military's entrance into Idlib per the terms of "recourse to the infidel against the infidel," allowing a dribs-and-drabs deployment that wouldn't jeopardize HTS's overall control."So for those reasons, Syria is likely to remain a battelfield for some time to come. There will be infighting between Turkey's SNA proxy, Turkey's HTS frenemy, likely the Alawites and other minorities will want their own militias to protect themselves from the Sunni takifiris. The cuntish Iraelis and Turks will likely continue bombing Syria for many months to come. Syria will end up a dangerous failed state just like Iraq and Libya where the cuntish Anglo-American Empire brought "democracy".
>>2740744>>2740730>>2740751How are you feeling now with today's news of the talks outlining Syria's future? (Bonus points if you also mention the rumours of the talks between Damascus and SFD).>dont want to create another LibyaSeems to be a common comment from ALL stakeholders involved.
>>2740731I can't wait to go do tourism in a bombed out landmine ridden shithole.
>>2739791Uh right, the Islamists are in charge, now everything will be great.
>>2741220Israel's foreign policy dictates it keeps its neighbors perpetually destabilized, so they can't mount any offensive operations. You won't see peace in Syria any time soon.
>>2741287This but unironically
Looks like Bald and Bankrupt's been on a propaganda run in Syria.
>>2739791yes
