what are the most vegan-friendly countries you've been to?
>>2743508rich parts of england
netherlands even outside of the cities they have decent vegetarian/vegan options most places
>>2743508India?
>>2743508Sri Lanka and parts of India. Also roughly 95% of the western world by now.
apart from south asia, vietnam was super vegetarian/vegan friendly and the food was the best
>>2743508Most of Greece is a vegan paradise, especially Athens. Worst to worse the chain burger joint Goody’s has a few vegan options, so does the chain pizza place Pizza fan. If there isn’t an option on Happycow, if you open up the food delivery app E-food or Fagi(certain islands only) and type vegan or νηστίσιμο you’ll likely find options. Plus almost every bakery should have at least spanakopita or maybe also mushroom pie or potato pie. The only place I couldn’t find vegan options easily was the tiny town of Gytheio in Lakonia. I really screwed up by booking a hotel in that locale instead of somewhere with a kitchen.
>>2743679Indians put ghee, cheese or milk on almost everything.
>>2743508The Netherlands. I mean the produce quality and selection there is so good I almost became a vegan myself while I was there. All those farmer's markets, and even the supermarket stuff was pretty good (freshly-made juices, for example).Impressive a country so small is such an agricultural powerhouse.
i've been to Cuckland, Basedcity, Emasculatedtown, real great places for a vegetarian such as myself.
>>2743508the kingdom of heaven(in other words, kill yourself)
>>2743508Dr. Gregers Appartment. Israel.
>>2746177I hear Israel is a paradise for vegans. Is that true?
>>2746178Buddhist and hindu lowlands, urban hipster centers
Portland and Seattle have a vegan restaurant on every corner. Fun fact, the Chinese people who run those places don't give a shit about your diet and they put whatever they want in the food. There's almost zero chance that a vegan restaurant run by Asians is really vegan.
Unironically Italy. Lots of fresh produce, legumes, nuts, etc. Although the north will have more butter and cheese, the south is more heavy on passata and olives so Puglia or Umbria might be more your speed.
>>2746177Dr. Goldstein's Apartheid. Occupied Palestine.
>>2746178yeah they have that cool program where they let millions of people not eat meat. in fact they don't really get food at all. I mean what is better for the global co2 footprint than genocide?
>>2743508plants are living, retard
>>2746431yes and no. in terms of produce availability yes, but you will be pressed in most restaurants to find a nicely crafted entree (eg not a side of fried potatoes) that is vegetarian let alone vegan. plus italy is the last place you want to be adjusting the menu and asking dumb questions. vegan is not easy to work around. vegetarian is easy to work around, you just won't be basking in the culinary highlights. just my 0.02 as a frequent visitor. produce is top tier though so you have that
