What can I await when going to these spots (in winter as in summer).Want to do some nice hikes and to make nice scenic landscapes for /p/
if you're hiking in zones 1-4 you will probably need a gun powerful enough to kill a bear

I can think of a famous dead nigger solo exploring Zone 1, a substantially less famous but equally dead nigger who died in Zone 2, no familiarity with the rest.

Bro the only one of these has anything at all in it other than polar bears is 1 and even then it’s mostly grizzly bears.
What awaits you in the tundra? I can think of a few things>literal wasteland>blackflies>musky shitty weather>drunk injuns clubbing seals>overpriced food because there's barely anything to survive on up there for locals alone>MILLIONS OF FUCKING BLACKFLIES>polar bears (aka the ones you should DEFINITELY fuck around and find out with)Honestly just stick with Anchorage or Yellowknife and do some day hikes from there. Good chance if you're driving you'll get stuck in mud and will be literally fucked.
>>2746472Haida gwaii is nice, Okanagan lake country in summer, small islands like Cortes, orherwise Nunavut is like a frozen wasteland but tourists go to Ellesmere Island it's pretty kino
1 has the train from jasper to prince rupert, can also drive there because of the amount of money america has put into alaskathere's also alaska ferries, can do a cheapo cruise of bellingham to juneau?2 has yellowknife, not much else3 has a train to moose factory, there's also one to churchill, quebec has a road to the towns up there because of their hydro dams4 has iqaluit, it's the most remote of the previous 4don't know about greenland, 1 seems the only practical one to visit if you're coming from europe
>>2746661Lots of dead people in zone 4. Lots of depressed alcoholics in zone 5.
