Want to go to Puerto Vallarta next week for 5-6 days, going with the kid and wife, do I stay in a hotel or airbnb? I want to eat food not hotel garbage, any recommendations? Mostly going because the pregnant wife wants sand, beach and water and I learned to listen to pregnant women
Both are fine. There was an amazing raw oyster stand on the beach Ostiones Puerto Vallarta "Cachurras" that also sells other seafood. They don't have a menu so you have to ask. Last time I went it was around $8 or so for a dozen for large fresh oysters. There were a lot of streetwalkers around the Brasilia/Guatemala area. Also have to watch your stuff, my gf kept getting her shit stolen.
Pancho's Takos was my favorite meal in PV. Insanely cheap too. We stayed at the Sheraton Sheraton Buganvilias. It was ok, but it was free because we did a timeshare presentation. There are some awesome deals on condos in Mismaloya if you rent a car and don't mind driving 20 minutes into the city. If you stay in PV, just get a hotel near the zona Romantica. And bring water shoes. They have those sea urchins that can stick your feet.
