What's the most out of place you've ever felt while traveling?

None of the travel i have don as an adult, but as a kid, i just hate camping resorts.
I have nothing to do in a fucking camping resort, sleeping in a fucking trailer, surrounded by low class retards as your neighbors but even closer, more invasive and more cancerous. Nothing to visit around but just a swimming pool or the beach.
I hate camping resorts, i hate everything they stand for, i hate people who go to camping resorts. I'd literally rather go to prison for a week.

First time I ever left the country I was 18 went to Romania for 2 weeks. Felt like I went back in a Time Machine

I got stared at when I landed in Sofia

Philadelphia. I was shocked at how miserable every was and how they just tolerated the absolute human misery and crime around them. There is no city in the US I've been to that felt more hostile or where the violent crime was more visible. It was one of the worst travel experiences of my life.

just visiting the Keg Steakhouse in my Canadian city alone is enough. It's mostly middle to late aged couples and families.

of course I stuck out like a sore thumb in budd fuck nowhere, China

Same. Campgrounds suck. I go camping to get away from neighbors and rent, but at campgrounds you have to pay exorbitant sums to LARP as a refugee or trailer trash.

I feel more alienated from other Americans in my small town than any of the simpler peoples inhabiting poorer countries. The role of diligent wagie is contrived, while wandering has come naturally for me since mom first let me ride my bike beyond the block we lived on, at age 13 or so.

Felt pretty good in Philly, we got a tourist cheesesteak it felt like Paterson
But I went to school in Newark so maybe that's why, also used to buy weed in Paterson with my friends

America just feels comfy, hood or not. Damn I miss home
No one in the hood ever threatened me or hurt me, compared to the dumpster fire Balkan shit hole I'm in that's done nothing but that, absolute trash heap

>Balkan shit hole
where? I need to avoid this
>>
>>2748603
What kind of fuckery were you up to? Did you make the mistake of befriending random drunks you met who offered you alcohol?
>>
>>2749019
What? I got a cheesesteak and minded my own business and went home what are you on about
The point is the places look a little rough but no one bothers you that's just how it is

I was in Ninh Bing Vietnam and was looking for some river cave cruise thing when I happened upon two white people enjoying a vacation. She was from the US and he was much younger and from Switzerland. By my estimation they were having a lot of sex on this trip and had just only met recently. We decided to look for the cruise thing together as they were also going there. We arrived and decided to do it as a trio. His girl was pretty hot and we started flirting instantly even in front of him. At one point while going through one particular river cave I had my hand on his gfs boob.

tldr. I proceeded to swoop in on a swiss 18 yo's travel hookup girl while on a couples romantic river canoe thing in vietnam.

I went to a party at OP's dad's house. Well, I thought it was a "party". It was more like fifty guys and a swing set.

Tokyo
Just the general awkwardness of not knowing the customs, language etc. Probably worst moment was taking a train to the edge of town and for whatever reason it was assigned seating and i didn't know what to do.

Coming from South America to Europe
The issues people complain about are so trivial and lame, I just can’t fucking sympathize
Like I’m not some tough hoodlum either, but compared to them I am it seems
