Anybody here have experience skiing/snowboarding in India/other Himalayan countries? Where I am (Canada) most people go to Europe or Japan for a crazy ski vacation that's outside the norm. But recently I've heard more about skiing in India, and was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with it, how expensive it was, and would they recommend it over other ski locations.

I understand that the infrastructure there might not be the best for groomed runs, park, and apres but I really don't care about any of that desu. The only thing I would be really concerned about infrastructure wise would be ski patrol availability and avalanche testing on the mountain as well as accomodations. I've heard that a lot of the resorts recommend that skiers are experienced with the backcountry and have avalanche gear+training
