I have watched endless travel vlogs going to India and they generally all have the same outcome. It's disgusting.
Is India away from the cities much better? I continuously see members of developing countries and Indians fuming that white men video absolute shitholes in India and state they're just showing the bad parts
Does india have any good parts?

practically all of india is covered by street view, just have a look for yourself
pic related, random drop

Okay I find it crazy how you can't randomly throw down street view without there being trash everywhere.

I was hoping that all these vloggers were just doing it for views but god it really does look gross

Most of this is propaganda from seething colonial powers. India is proper the world's #2 superpower, and the cities are developing quicker than in China.
Indians pretty much run most of the world's major companies now, and there's a reason the rest is crying out for Indian values, labour, food, culutre and standards. They're literally just superior and more fit for the 21st century.

All this street view shit and youtuber shills are just a psyop to paint India in a bad light.

They couldn't even maintain technology the British left them from 70 odd years ago lol

TIL the British Empire managed India using Google Workspace.

It's inferior and not dharmaic correct

I’ve never been personally
But Mike Okay on youtube traveled around nagaland and it’s pretty nice
But yeah the urban areas tend to be crowded and full of trash as far as I’ve seen

North India is not third world, it's apocalyptic in a way that's worse than even the hardest African shitholes. But there's still lots of wealth with the top 1% while the rest live in slums and filth. Avoid at all costs.

South India like Bangalore and Kerala are more like your standard third world country, similar to Indonesia or Philippines. There's trash but only around certain places, roads and sidewalks are better, people are more educated and more respectful (but I've heard TN people are still rude).
Still, it's mixed with the occasional pajeetry, so they shit on the beaches at the very least, religion and caste system are also there, traffic and honking are horrible etc.

Northeast is an outlier, with some states having Hindu majority and others with Neo-Christian tribals.

Here's a delusional Indian man full of pride.

I just want the Darjeeling Limited experience. Is that unrealistic like expecting Paris to be the Amelie experience?
>>
>>2749884
Just go to Darjeeling
Or any other eastern parts

What about Panchkula and Chandigarh? Not only do they look like very nice cities by developing country standards, but they are close to some great topography.

Really though, I don't get how people can get tired of traveling. Does a map with all its intricacies of detail mean nothing to them? I can spend half the year in Asia for the next two decades and still only get to experience a tiny fraction of what life is like in various parts of the continent.
