I'm gonna be in Reading UK from April to June then in Swindon UK for a couple months after mid July. Any tips on living there or places to go? I get to pick my hotel too which is up to $90 a day. I've already been to
>BATH
>Stratford-upon-Avon
>Oxford
>Windsor Castle
>Stonehenge
>Warwick Castle
I definitely want to explore the Cotswolds and visit Snowdonia

I'll make $49/hour and get $108 every day I'm there for meals and incidentals. I don't need to pay for my lodging but where I'm staying hasn't been decided. I think the $90 limit will be raised honestly

I'd just take the train into London each weekend if I were you

>Jurassic Coast
Your first red question mark is right over the Jurassic coast, a world heritage site, with Lyme Regis being the main town for this. The cliffs along the coast are eroding here every day depositing fresh fossils that fall out along the coast that you are able to freely walk along and collect (because they will only be lost to the sea otherwise). It's a world heritage site

>Swindon
bit of a shithole. It has a huge outlet mall for shopping, people from all around the region go there. The town grew in the industrial revolution around the railway works for Brunel's Great Western Railway (very famous, historic, well liked/respected railway company - the historic one and not the one using its name without any relation to them). You'll find a lot of heritage stuff related to that around

>Reading~
Some good racecourses (horse racing) accessible from here. Ascot will be best. Royal Ascot (17-21 June) is one of the major horse racing fixtures of the year but there are other dates with races on.

>Stonehenge
Just Stonehenge? There is more around there. Salisbury (the cathedral has the best preserved original Magna Carta), Old Sarum

>Air shows
Royal International Air Tattoo (18th-20th July) at RAF Fairford very close to Swindon. The largest military air show in the world. RAF Fairford is actually a US airbase used for B52s, B2s, the big bombers basically. https://www.airtattoo.com/
There is no Farnborough this year (it's every 2 years) which is also a major airshow near Reading

>Silverstone
you could look into going to the F1 race (3-6 July) but there are other races such as MotoGP (23-25 May). It's not that far away

>Seaside towns
Your right question mark is over Brighton which is the seaside resort of choices for gays and obnoxious Londoners. You could instead go west to Weston-Super-Mare or even Barry (in Wales) from Reading easily enough.

>I get to pick my hotel too which is up to $90 a day
lol sounds like a dire low rate for the UK but idk. All the hotels are filled with illegal scum so supply is low and prices are through the roof

If I think of more I'll post some more later or whenever

>from Reading easily enough
I meant Swindon if that wasn't obvious

>stonehenge
is a bit shit, they don't let you near it except if you're a pagan at a solstice
you can go to Avebury instead, which is less well known so they let you look at the megaliths up close and personal
honestly in that part of the world the comfy thing to do with a spare weekend in the summer is to buy one of the orange OS maps, follow the green lines to a rural pub, and get sloshed while some farmer's dog demands pets from you

He said he's already been not that he wants to go to Stonehenge
