I just recently went to Saint Petersburg in Russia and kept thinking to myself "Jesus fucking Christ I could have went to Italy instead" Every fucking street corner in Rome feels like a painting, the vibes are fucking immaculate, the people are so damn friendly and if I could choose to be born anywhere in the world it would be there. It's absolutely everything I love, art history and aesthetics with just the exact amount of cheer and life that it doesn't overblow itself or ends up stale in bureocracy. Any recs of places for something similar? I heard someone tell me to go to Germany but I only went to Berlin and it was so damn tiring, maybe Munich might be better?I genuinely can't go to another country and not think to myself "Damn I could have gone to Italy instead" and get pissed about it. Im thinking about a Thailand trip up until the middle of february after Carnaval ends, and yes I am doing it for the hookers. No LATAM tropical shitholes please, we have those at home and im not very big on beaches, feels like a waste of money.
