Brazilian here, I live in Copacabana in a apartment my family has owner for decades. I despise with every fucking fiber of my being any nordic or central european tourist because they always walk here and believe it to be a zoo, "Ja! zo exotic und colorful" farbenreich my fucking ass. They pay for fucking guided tours around favelas thinking theyre watching a damn safari, which to be fair is not that different but even as a somewhat anti nationalist self hater who moved to France for a couple years I just want to fucking spit on them. American tourists are similar but they tend to be retarded in a funny and exploitable way, my cop friend ended up getting a warning from his supervisor because him and his coworker laughed in the face of a american filing a report his phone got stolen during a crowded show (don't bring it dumbass) and this grown man started to cry about his phone being pickpocketed in the police station.
I just take any chances I get to give the most horrid advice and directions I can to any tourist that comes in my way, in their native tongue too if I can speak it. Hopefully bang some stupid sandbrained swedish roastie like last summer, they find this monstrous place so beautiful I can't tell why...
