I think Jacket Jason is the superior design. It fits him as an outdoorsman, it separates him more visually from Michael Myers, and it looks good when swinging a weapon

He didn’t exist, he’s a demon that retroactively willed himself into existence. Now that he’s ā€œalways existedā€ you can’t prove he didn’t exist.

Definitely the best task in fucking ages. Letting them figure out it was twins at the same time as the audience was great editing, because you get to enjoy the suspense of watching the team of 3 thinking they had it figured out guessing letters and making a nonsense

The group dynamic feels quite similar to last series' except maybe a bit more mean. Maisie and Reece are really solidly fun to watch, sideburns lad is alright, Sanjeev is too low energy even to fill the "middle aged comedian too good for this shit" role and the ginger girl seems pleasant but I'm not really sure why she's there

I think prize tasks work the best when you get to know a contestant over the course of a series and you get a bit of an expectation and buildup for what they're gonna bring out. eg. John Kearns's abysmal track record of prizes and everybody genuinely rooting for him to bring something decent and he brings out a business card while the scottish girl next to him cackles madly

>>214968910
this is the best series of taskmaster imo

France… shit. I’m still only in France. Every time I think I’m gonna wake up back in the studio. When I was home after my first interview, it was worse. I’d wake up and there’d be nothing. I hardly said a word to my ethical polcyule, until I said ā€˜yes’ to a breakup. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the interview. I’m here a week now… waiting for a retort… getting softer. Every minute I stay in this room, I get weaker, and every minute Ornella squats in the limelight, she gets stronger. Each time I looked around the walls moved in a little tighter.

NTA but I would rather kick the can down the road for western slop like movies and tv. someone else will always pick up the tab since I only watch highly recommended things.

Anime and hentai, on the other hand. Those deserve my help.

How long until decent AI movies are possible?

i.e. When will we be able to go...
>Computer, generate me a fantasy action movie featuring John Cena, Sofia Loren and Fred Astaire
... and it will just create one for you for, say, $5?

Would you watch an AI movie, anon?

>>
>>214965839
Never. We're already seeing the start of the AI bubble burst and the pipe dream of AI-generated movies will go with it. It's the very essence of baseless hype.

Disregarding the technical limitations like the absurd processing cost of hypothetically generating a 2 hour video(current video tools can handle maybe 1 minute), there's just no demand because people just don't like AI-generated content. Mostly it's used for facebookslop that your boomer aunt reposts thinking it's real, and those "AI interviews..." youtube videos. Every attempt to integrate it into a big budget media production has been met with mockery and disgust.

>but it's gonna IMPROOOOOOVE
It already has. Google Veo 3 is technically astounding. Doesn't matter, it still hasn't made anything anyone cares about.

Netflix has already found a very narrow but useful application for AI - brief CGI scenes in television budget productions.
The Eternaut used AI to generate a one second sequence of a building collapsing during a guy's PTSD flashback. In conventional CGI, this shot would have cost $5,000, now it costs pennies.

Ask yourself, could AI replace the submarine docking scene from LOST? Uhh maybe
