Releasing this show weekly was the foolish decision Amazon ever did. It's neither well written nor intriguing enough for continued discussion once the episode ends. If you saw this back to back, it'll abundantly clear how flimsy the plot is and how it's bolstered by cartoon highjinks. Plus this scene is really dumb. Imagine continuing to apply some implausible, oversimplified morality system you lifted from your mass-murderer father to the people who've lived the wastes more than her grand total of a single month and thinking you'll make any progress. She's not a very compelling or competent Fallout protagonist.
