>God’s will is entirely subjective

Human opinions of it are, but God’s will is objective, just as logic is. He created the world via Logos/Logic.

>>219210191
I don’t think you understand. Science does not work without assuming what God could provide. They are intrinsically linked. If science is reliable and gives us true information, it must be grounded in a metaphysical/non empirical system that is true and reliable and not arbitrary. Science is explicitly empirical and deals with physical observation and experimentation, it cannot by its very definition ever prove what is non-physical such as logic as the assumption of things like logic it relies on in order to function in the first place.

It's better than MoS in character work, dialogue, performances, and how the plot unfolds. It makes a difference how Clark and Lois have chemistry here, instead of Snyder's versions having none.
It's worse than MoS in action and visual style

Reloaded and Revoltuions is one movie. Neither is a complete story. It's hardly a Back to the future situation where they even feel like chapters of a big story. The Wachowskis almost did a 1 sequel and 1 prequel, and that got scrapped so they made 1 big for the price of 2 sequel.
>The problem is you since you will never create anything.
lol, dude you don't know me, but I am quite literally an award winner in my field, what are you?
>>
>>219199118
it wasn’t even “ahead of its time” or whatever cope people use, it was just bloated as hell. you had neo literally flying around like a dbz character and then 40 minutes of cgi sentinels squishing extras in mech suits.

the atmosphere from the first one is completely gone. matrix 1 felt cold and mysterious. revolutions feels like a ps2 cutscene stretched to 2 hours. the only kino part is the final smith fight in the rain and even that looks like a tech demo now.

still better than resurrections though. that one somehow made me nostalgic for the rave scene.
>>
>>219194380
Matrix sequels sucked.
>>
I wanted to see more of Merovingian. Supposedly Smith assimilated him too
>>
People that complain about the last fight between Neo and Smith is too much... It's logical that the fight is more spectacular than the previous ones because they now are much more powerful. What do those people expected? Another fight on the ground like the first one? It wouldn't have made sense.

They all are. That's why the '78 Superman worked. It took something silly, and tried to turn it into something mythological and symbolic. It gets silly at the end, but the first 1/3 of the film has the same vibe as Excalibur. It feels epic in the old sense of the word. But all this mess from the last 20 years? Pure diarrhea.

That's not what is stated here. A writer maybe shouldn't get that much. But you know maybe they should, it would probably make movies and shows a lot better.

This movie's rabbit hole goes very deep and no one ever talks about it for some reason. It's basically Polanski taunting the audience about how the world really works and how untouchable elites like him are -- he re-enacted the ending IRL afterwards and got away with it just like the villain in the movie. And that's just the surface

>Alan J. Pakula of All the President's Men
One of the weakest Pakula joints, basically a boomer power fantasy about a couple of CIA agents. The Parallax View is his masterpiece and I'm convinced this is how real assassinations actually take place.
>>
He also made this movie where the protagonist unwittingly gets involved with the Mossad and ends up screwing them over after they kill a girl he meets who is played by Polanski's future wife. I feel like there is some hidden message in it too but I don't know what

same. i always think of Cloverfield except replace the cloverfield monster with a 100ft tall giantess, actress has to be hot, nice ass and boobs, but also be convincing at being a monster from another dimension. she shouldnt speak at all in the movie, or maybe does but its in some fucked up alien human language that nobody understands. her motivations are unknown, she swallows some people whole, crushes some that try to stop her, one guy gets taken but doesnt get crushed or eaten nobody knows what she did with him.
>>219208060

Emphasis on how fucked up and horrible it would be is the only way to include those things, so agreed. It's already going to be a "fetish movie" even if it's super bland and safe, so they might as well lean into it.

>the best, most based firearms made recently?
None. The "best" were made decades ago. The M-16 family of arms, and the AK series, pretty much reached the apex of individual weapons. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Neither has been surpassed. The best gpmg was made in 58' by the Belgians called the MAG-58, and the current model in the U.S. is known as the M-240 series. Meanwhile the former Soviet equivalent in use is still pretty much the apex of gpmg. RPG's and infantry anti armor weapons are still ruled by the RPG-7, while the Carl Gustav 84mm recoilless rifle is the apex in the west. Meanwhile, the 1911 series of handguns is STILL the king, and the M2 .50 cal and the Soviet version DsHK .51 cal have never been surpassed.

I ran a CAR-15 and M-4 for 20 years. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
