I'm fucking pissed about this show. I saw a clip where this guy was in the bar and made a deal to live forever but had to meet with this strange person every 100 years. So it sounded interesting. I started reading the comic, and I was like wow- ok. this is great! So I get around to watching this pirated because fuck netflix, and sure enough almost every other characer is either race swapped or gender swapped, or both. And it's never back -> white or female -> male, it's always the other way around. Feminizing and "diversifying" characters. It's so fucking stupid. And then the FUCKING GAY SHIT MY GOSH, I was watching first episode and the scene where the black slave dude holds his hand out i was like ok... here we go... then watch for a few more moments and WHAT THE FUCK MORE GAY SHIT ALREADY AND NOT EVEN AT THE END OF THE PILOT. Then they kill off charles dances character in the stupidest way possible. I had to stop watching it. I wish there was an adaptation of this that didn't have all the gay and dei bullshit. if there is one let me know.
